SmartSwap is a lightweight client‑side Forge mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that makes tool switching faster, cleaner, and way less annoying. With a single keypress, you can toggle SmartSwap on or off and let the mod handle the busywork of swapping between tools while you play. It keeps things simple - no automation creep, no weird behavior - just smoother gameplay.
SmartSwap is designed to stay out of your way while still giving you clear feedback. When you toggle it, a clean HUD message fades in and out, showing Enabled (green) or Disabled (red). It’s subtle, readable, and doesn’t clutter your screen.
Since the mod is fully client‑side, it works everywhere: singleplayer, vanilla servers, modded servers, realms - anything. No server installation required.
