Changes

• Forge and Fabric clients and servers can now join each other with Smart Moving working. Forge now uses the same network channels as Fabric.
• Swimming at the surface: looking down no longer shows the water from above and below at once. The eyes sit at the original's height again, and drop to vanilla's swimming height under a low ceiling, such as in a one-block-high water channel, so the view is not covered by the ceiling block and you do not take suffocation damage there.
• The mod now has an icon in the mod list.

Compatibility

The Forge version's network format changed. A Forge client or server on 1.0.0 and the other side on 1.0.1 treat each other as not having the mod: joining still works, but Smart Moving stays off. Update both sides. Fabric 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 still work together.

Install on both the client and the server. With only one side, joining still works, but Smart Moving stays off.
