SLR Health XP
SLR Health XP is an addon for Solo Leveling: Reawakening [SLR] that expands the ways you can earn System XP.
The main purpose of this addon is simple: allow awakened players to gain SLR System XP from normal hostile mobs and hostile mobs added by other mods, instead of being limited mainly to enemies encountered inside SLR gates.
This makes SLR progression work much better in larger modpacks. If you are exploring the overworld, fighting enemies from another creature mod, clearing structures, battling dungeon mobs from another mod, or simply killing normal Minecraft monsters, those fights can now contribute toward your Solo Leveling progression.
How XP Works
When an eligible hostile mob is killed by an awakened player, SLR Health XP calculates the reward using the mob's maximum health:
XP Reward = Mob Maximum Health ÷ XP Divisor
The default divisor is 10.
For example:
- A mob with 20 maximum health gives 2 XP
- A mob with 100 maximum health gives 10 XP
- A boss with 500 maximum health gives 50 XP
Because the reward is based on maximum health, stronger enemies naturally provide more System XP.
The divisor can be changed from:
Minecraft → Mods → SLR Health XP → Config
Lowering the divisor gives more XP, while increasing it gives less XP.
Designed for Non-Gate Mobs
One of the most important parts of this addon is that it is specifically designed to reward you for fighting non-gate enemies.
Solo Leveling: Reawakening already has its own progression and XP systems for its gate and dungeon content. SLR Health XP does not try to replace those systems.
SLR's own mobs and mobs identified as belonging to an SLR gate/dungeon are excluded from the addon's reward system. This prevents the addon from intentionally adding another health-based reward on top of SLR's normal gate XP.
The goal is to fill the gap outside of gates:
SLR gates → SLR handles the XP
Normal/modded hostile mobs outside SLR gates → SLR Health XP handles the XP
This allows other combat content in your modpack to remain useful for Solo Leveling progression.
Awakening Required
You cannot earn addon XP before awakening.
SLR Health XP checks your Solo Leveling player state before giving a reward. If you have not awakened yet, killing eligible mobs will give:
No addon System XP and no XP notification.
Once awakened, eligible hostile mobs begin awarding System XP normally.
This keeps early progression aligned with Solo Leveling: Reawakening instead of allowing players to accumulate System XP before they have access to the System.
What Gives XP?
SLR Health XP is intended to support a wide variety of combat-focused content, including:
- Vanilla hostile mobs such as zombies, skeletons, creepers, and other enemies
- Hostile mobs added by other mods
- Enemies found in non-SLR structures and dungeons
- Strong modded creatures and bosses that are recognized as hostile
- Normal overworld, Nether, End, and modded-world combat
The addon also includes additional hostile detection for some unusual modded mobs that actively target players.
What Does NOT Give Addon XP?
To prevent exploits and unwanted double rewards, the addon excludes:
- Passive animals
- Villagers
- Players
- Tamed pets
- Non-hostile creatures
- Native Solo Leveling: Reawakening entities
- Mobs identified as belonging to an SLR gate or dungeon
- Eligible mobs killed before the player has awakened
SLR-Style XP Notification
When SLR Health XP awards System XP, the player receives an action-bar notification matching the style used by Solo Leveling: Reawakening:
Gained X XP
The XP is added directly to the player's SLR System progression and synchronized with the player.
Multiplayer Support
SLR Health XP is designed to work in multiplayer.
XP rewards are calculated server-side, so each player receives XP for their own eligible kills. One player's kill does not award the reward to every player on the server.
On dedicated servers, the server's configuration controls the XP divisor. Changing the configuration only on a player's client does not override the server's settings.
For the most reliable multiplayer experience, install the same version of SLR Health XP on both the server and connecting clients.
Configuration
The XP multiplier can be adjusted through the in-game Mods menu:
Mods → SLR Health XP → Config
You can also edit:
config/slr_health_xp-common.toml
The default configuration is:
xpDivisor = 10
A lower divisor means more XP.
A higher divisor means less XP.
For example:
20 = half the default reward10 = default reward5 = twice the default reward
Compatibility
SLR Health XP 1.0.0 is designed for:
Minecraft: 1.20.1
Mod Loader: Forge
Solo Leveling: Reawakening: 1.2.0
Java: 17
Solo Leveling: Reawakening is required.
This addon does not replace SLR and does not function as a standalone leveling system. It extends SLR's existing System XP progression to compatible hostile mobs outside of its normal gate content.
Why This Addon Exists
In a larger modpack, there may be hundreds of hostile creatures, bosses, structures, and dungeon mods to fight through. Without integration, much of that combat can feel disconnected from Solo Leveling progression because defeating those enemies does not contribute to your System XP.
SLR Health XP connects that content to SLR.
You can explore your modpack normally, fight enemies from other mods, clear non-SLR dungeons, and take on powerful creatures while still progressing your awakened character.
Fight stronger enemies. Gain more System XP. Continue leveling outside the gates.
