Slothfullllll

Slothfullllll makes big modpacks start faster. Basically reduces slow work the game does before you see the title screen.

Features

• When the game starts, Java works out how all your mods connect to each other.
• In a modpack most of those checks can never change the result, so Slothfullllll skips them.

• Mods carry small patch lists that the game has to find while loading.
• Normally it searches every mod file for each one. Slothfullllll builds an index once and finds them right away.

• When the game looks for a texture or data file, Forge asks every mod for it.
• Slothfullllll only asks the mods that actually have files under that name.

• Kiwi, Ice and Fire, NuclearCraft and Prism read their own files directly instead of searching every mod.
• TooManyPlayers checks its online list in the background instead of holding up the game.
• Journey Into the Light no longer crashes on login when its update check fails.
• These only switch on when that mod is installed.

• Your worlds, items and settings stay exactly the same. Only loading gets faster.
• Every feature can be turned off in config/slothfullllll.properties.
• If a feature does not fit your setup, it turns itself off instead of crashing.

FAQ

Do I still need Lazyyyyy?
- No. Slothfullllll includes reworked versions of the Lazyyyyy speedups, so you do not need both. The Lazyyyyy features that are known to cause crashes or visual bugs were left out on purpose.

Something broke.
- Turn features off one by one in config/slothfullllll.properties to find the cause, then tell me and attach your latest.log.

Why the name?
- The sin of laziness yo.
