Slime & Dragons RPG classes

Blending ttrpg classes and Tensura:reincarnated to create an immersive fantasy adventure.

What’s in it

  • 17 classes with 73 subclasses. Based on the D&D 2024 PHB, plus Blood Hunter, Illrigger, Magus, Monster Hunter, and Gunslinger.
  • Class tab in the Tensura menu. It replaces the first “coming soon” slot on the right side, under the Status/race tab. You can also open it with the J key.
  • Choosing a class. With no class, you see a constellation of all 17 class logos. Click one to inspect it, click again to preview its tree, then choose it.
  • The skill tree. It’s a constellation with your class in image:
    • The class logo sits at the center, with core features on an inner ring.
    • Gear upgrades sit inside that ring, and feats and minor talents sit just outside it.
    • Each subclass is a root on the outer ring that branches into its own tree. Picking one seals the others.
    • Unlocked paths glow gold and unlockable ones pulse cyan. Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, click a star to inspect it.
  • Level trials. A tracker panel works like the race-evolution tracker: it shows the trial for your next gated level with progress bars. The trials use Tensura’s own evolution requirements and follow the race evolution curve:
    Level Trial
    3 1k EP
    5 5k EP
    9 25k EP, 1 boss, carry a class-themed item (e.g. 4 beast horns for Barbarian)
11 60k EP, Named, master your class’s signature skill
    15 150k EP, 3 bosses, carry a higher-tier item
17 400k EP, 5 bosses, master your subclass skill
    20 1M EP, 8 bosses
  • Earning XP. Class XP comes from kills (scaled by the victim’s EP, with a bonus for bosses) and from using class skills.
  • Rewards:
    • Passive buffs through Tensura’s attributes (magicules, aura, dodge chance, element boosts, presence concealment and more).
    • 30+ perk types, such as lifesteal, sneak damage, auras for nearby allies, and cheating death.
    • 109 custom class skills that appear in Tensura’s skill menu.
    • Many existing Tensura skills, magic and battlewill arts.
    • A Tensura Unique skill as each class’s capstone.
  • Equipment. Each class gets a starting kit. Free gear nodes upgrade it at levels 5, 11, 17 and 20 (silver, then magisteel, high magisteel and adamantite). Gunslingers also get four craftable firearms and Paper Cartridge ammo.
  • Choices. You get 25 class points by level 20. That covers your core and subclass with a few to spare, which compete for feats and minor talents, so builds differ.
  • Extras. A craftable Class Reset Scroll, /rpgclass commands, and a config file for the XP multiplier and to turn the trials off.
