What's new

Sleep Time Simulation 0.4.8

Fix variable day length: simulation waits until the daylight clock reaches the next morning supplied by Minecraft's sleep event. World-update counts no longer determine completion. This supports /neoforge day length and /neoforge day speed, including fractional clock advancement. Progress follows the daylight clock. The legacy maxSkipTicks config is retained but no longer ends sleep early.

Retains faster 0.4.7 defaults, bed-exit cancellation, other-dimension isolation, and normal-speed player entity ticks. A player leaving bed still cancels sleep. Turning daylight cycling off also cancels sleep.

Choose ONE JAR matching your Minecraft version and loader; replace the older Sleep Time Simulation JAR. Never install a test-probe JAR.

Existing installations retain their explicit speed settings. For the faster preset, set in config/sleeptimesimulation-common.toml:
extraTicksPerTick = 256
batchBudgetMillis = 40

Restart after replacing the JAR or editing the config. No day-length multiplier setting is required in this mod. Full simulation remains enabled, so longer configured nights require more world updates.
