A Demon Slayer mod that is dependent on Palladium and Minecraft 1.20.1

This mod includes demons, human slayer abilities, and survival obtainment for the abilities. Furthermore, the mod includes weapons and items for your journey through the Demon Slayer universe. This can include nichirin katanas, training gear, and more!

Slayer Training, Obtainment, & Information:

Slayer training is an essential thing to do in order to become a Demon Slayer, despite the fact that nichirin katanas can eliminate a Demon, you yourself, need the power to carry that out.

In order to get the ability of a Demon Slayer, the strength, the breathing, and the discipline. You can train, this is done through 3 different trainings. Lower body, Upper body, and Breath training.

Lower Body - Legs and lower body can be improved with lower body training done with Weighted Ankle-Rope. Upon putting them into your armor slots, you will gain a slowness effect which is effectively the weight of the training gear. Moving around in any way, sprinting or not, will train your lower body. You will know the training is complete when the weight (slowness effect) drops or completely disappears. (It will only drop if you have other weights on you, the weight doubles if you have both Lower and Upper body training equipped. They have their own seperate weight and additions.)

Upper Body - Arms and upper body can be improved with upper body training done with Weighted Wrist-Rope. Upon putting them into your armor slots, you will gain a slowness effect which is effectively the weight of the training gear. Holding a stone (Obtained by smelting cobblestone.) in your main-hand, and using the ability this provides you, will train your arms and upper body. You will know the training is complete when the weight (slowness effect) drops or completely disappears. (It will only drop if you have other weights on you, the weight doubles if you have both Lower and Upper body training equipped. They have their own seperate weight and additions.)

Breath Training - Your breathing can be trained and improved with a special Starting Gourd, obtained with the same recipe as the Small Gourd but with black dye instead of brown. When you equip the gourd with the ability as you hold it in your main-hand, you will be given the ability to manually breathe into the gourd. The way you train it is by balancing the breathing bar around the middle after holding the breathing ability. You know you are progressing and training your breathing when your character plays the animation. Furthermore, you have 2 locked icons at the bottom of the ability bar, they are linked to the 2 stages of your breathing training. When the first one shows a checkmark and unlocks, it is a signal that you have completed your first training stage. The second, you must do the same training but underwater (It is much shorter training.), which will also show a checkmark and unlock when you have finished. Your gourd may break when training is completed.

Upon completing all 3 of these trainings, you will instantly be given the Slayer abilities as a starter. Giving you the abilities of a Demon Slayer that has just begun their journey.

Color Changing Katanas (Nichirin Katanas) - The nichirin katanas, a weapon used to eliminate demons, despite their use, there are always cosmetic ability. Upon weilding the sword as a slayer, if you are capable of learning breathing well enough or have achieved the ability to be a slayer, the sword will change color as you draw it out of the sheath. There are 14 different colors, these colors are linked to different breathing styles, indicating which one you are destined for. If you weild the katana before becoming a slayer and you are not ready, the sword will simply not change color. Furthermore, katanas and sheaths can be equipped in different combinations and orders. For example, you could get a default katana and a kamado sheath and equip them both to create your own combinations with various different options and more to come. This can also be extremely creative depending on what sword color you get.

Gourds & Breath training - Upon becoming a slayer, you may notice that your breathing is slow and doesn't fill up much of the breathing bar. Gourds can be used to train, the same way as the starter gourd used to train and become a slayer. When gourds are used to train as a slayer, starting from small, to then medium, to large, you will begin to strengthen your ability to breathe. The capacity of which you can breathe with the breathing bar, will not increase, but the speed it fills up will massively increase with each level you gain with gourd training. You know you are finished with your level of breathing and gourd when the gourd explodes and you can't use that same gourd type again, meaning you need a bigger gourd or have completely finished and maximised your breathing level. The capacity of which you can breathe with your breathing bar increases as you rank up and become a higher Demon Slayer rank.

Demon Slayer Uniform - Slayer uniform is an extremely helpful part of being a demon slayer, especially for battles and hunting demons. The uniform is extremely light-weight and flexible whilst also being very durable and fire-proof, making you immune any type of fire damage whilst wearing it. Stacking this with your breathing capabilities which gives extra strength, durability, and armor, and stacking it with your sword, you become extremely strong and prepared against weak or average demons already.

Demon Race obtainment and Demon information:

Base Demon - Demons are created and reproduced by having their blood enter the system of another organism. This means that mobs or any species are able to be transformed into demons by either digesting demon blood, or having their wounds exposed to the demon blood. In this mod you can drink demon blood to become a demon. Demon blood can be obtained either by mutating human blood with the same item used to create the demon king, or by destroying a demon with a low chance of dropping. As a base demon you are able to progress by eating human flesh, human blood, or even demon flesh. When you progress, you will find that your level of hearts increase, your durability upgrades, your strength becomes much better, your mining is faster, and even your armor amount boosts beyond visual. Though it is likely time consuming to devour human flesh and blood to progress, you can find a demon king, if you have one, to serve, ask, or trade with to get their demon blood, allowing you to progress much faster due to demon blood giving you much more power and strength to progress much faster than human flesh and blood.

Demon King - The Demon King can be created through a special recipe to create a soup. This soup, is a medicine that will transform the person who drinks it, into a demon, the same was Muzan was transformed. If they are human they will become the Demon King. As the demon king you will be able to force inject blood into any entity, including players, and transform them into a demon against their will, alongside having the ability to take a drop of your own blood and give it to a demon or human to transform them into a demon or make them stronger if they are already a demon. Despite the capabilities of demons, if with enough time and the right Blood Demon Art, surprising your level, you remain in control, you have the ability to instantly destroy any demon who isn't a demon king, within your range, ensuring you remain in control and above them.

Demon Blood & Vial: Demon Blood - Demon blood can be obtained by crafting the soup/medicine used to create a demon king, and using it to mutate human blood in a crafting table. That, or you can hunt and kill demon npcs, with a low chance of dropping demon blood. The demon king can also produce demon blood. Upper moons can produce impure demon blood which can only transform a player into a demon, but can't make them stronger. Demon blood can be combined with a crafting table, if you put two demon blood together it will create concentrated demon blood, which when drank does the same value as drinking two seperate demon blood. If you get enough concentrated demon blood, you can put an empty container into the middle of the crafting table and surround it with concentrated demon blood to make a vial of demon blood. A Vial of demon blood, like concentrated demon blood, has a correctly calculated amount of effect on a player, which when drank gives a value 8 concentrated demon blood to the player. This vial of demon blood can be used for much than just consumption.

Demon Flesh - Demon flesh can be obtained the same way as demon blood, by obtaining the soup/medicine used to create a demon king, and having it mutate human flesh in a crafting table, instead of human blood. It cannot be obtained by a demon due to their flesh burning or disappearing upon death. Demon flesh can give slightly more power to a demon than human flesh. Furthermore it has some other hidden uses: here's a hint, he uses a gun.

Hidden recipes and information:

This mod is full of hidden information and recipes, with many different items and different features everywhere. Despite some recipes being hidden, they can still be obtained with creative or commands. Items that are hidden for example range from the Demon Cure, Strong Demon Cure, to Sun Immunity Potions. There are hidden features such as things outside of the obvious, like different things you may be able to do with demon flesh, and obtainment methods for different items and abilities.

Future additions to the mod:

There are much more to come to the mod that hasn't been added yet but are already in the works. These include breathing styles, blood demon arts, and even things such as more dimensions and features.
