DISCLAIMER:

This mod is not balanced, both for singleplayer and multiplayer play. You will be hilariously OP with these weapons, especially when enchanted. This isn't necessarily an issue (Since being super OP with fun movement weapons is kinda the point of this mod), but it's also something we'd like to work towards fixing.

An overview of the features in this mod:

The Shotgun!
A new ranged weapon that not only does decent explosive damage, but also can launch you upwards if shot at your feet!
Some info about this weapon:
-You get an invisibility frame when this weapon is shot
-It can be enchanted with Blasting, which increases the amount of upwards momentum you get from shooting at your feet
-Although it hasn't been tested, it should also blast other players up if shot at their feet. At least, that's what you can tell your friends when you get this weapon.

The Hammer!
A giant, heavy melee weapon capable of flinging the wielder forwards and dealing tons of damage on impact!
Some info about this weapon:
-You can repeatedly use the smash attack ability when on land to basically break the sound barrier
-Try smashing onto water! You'll skip like a rock!
-It can be enchanted with Swing, an enchantment that increases how fast it flings you, or Smashing, which can deals more smash attack damage as well as damage to blocks (Block damage can be disabled though via a gamerule, don't worry server admins)

The Grappling Hook!
This is pretty self explanatory, you shoot, you go.
Some info about this tool:
-You don't actually gain any velocity from shooting this, it's basically just an upgraded enderpearl
-You can sneak while the hook is in the air to cancel the swing, effectively stopping you in midair briefly
-It's actually not really a grappling hook, it's more of a teleportation gun, so who knows, maybe I'll rebrand it eventually.

The Spring Boots!
Boots that you can equip to completely negate fall damage. (These are definitely legally distinct from long fall boots).
Some info about these boots:
-There's really not a lot to say here.
-I don't know why I put this section in
-Mostly just for consistency I guess

There's plenty to play around with, and if you have any ideas feel free to suggest them!

And yes, the mod is heavily inspired by games like Doom, Quake, and Ultrakill. There's going to be more updates with more interesting weapons, but figuring out unique things that offer new movement options is a bit difficult.
There might be an update eventually that adds in some forms of gore or blood, but this will likely be disabled by default for people that are uncomfortable with that.
