Per-player loot for naturally-generated chests, barrels, shulker boxes, and minecarts — server-side only, no client install required.

Tired of racing to mineshaft chests? SlashLootr gives every player their own personal copy of the loot in any naturally-generated container. Open a chest, get your roll. Your friend opens the same chest, gets their own different roll. Nobody finds an empty chest after the speedrunner went through.

What's different from Lootr / myLoot

The existing per-player-loot mods register custom block variants (lootr:chest, myloot:chest) and swap the vanilla block-state at the container's position. That breaks vanilla compatibility — datapack predicates, /data queries, scoreboard selectors, structure saves, and other mods that scan for minecraft:chest all stop working. Worse, it means every client needs the mod installed, kicking anyone on vanilla Fabric.

SlashLootr never touches block-state. The chest stays a minecraft:chest forever. Per-player loot happens entirely via server-side menu substitution.

Installation

1. Drop the JAR matching your Minecraft version into your server's mods/ folder.
2. Drop the matching Fabric API version into the same folder.
3. Restart the server.

That's it. Clients connect with vanilla Fabric — no SlashLootr in their mods folder needed.
