SlashBlade Reborn

The classic feel is back.

SlashBlade Reborn (旧梦重铸) is an addon for SlashBlade: Resharped on Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge. It restores combat and progression based on SlashBlade 1.7.10 r87, with additional dual-wielding mechanics inspired by 1.12.2, while keeping Resharped's blade and addon framework.

Features

• Classic combat: Ground and aerial combos, sheath strikes, launching attacks, downward slashes, dashes, and sheathing, with legacy attack ranges and damage rules.
• Summoned swords and sword arts: Classic summoned sword patterns, phantom blades, nine legacy Special Attacks, follow-up attacks, and the charge-and-release Super Special Attack.
• Dual wielding: Equip a blade in each hand to use the six-stage ForceEdge combo and Stinger thrust.
• Style and defense: Legacy style ranking, Just Guard, projectile barriers, and projectile reflection.
• Legacy enchantments: Blade-specific effects for eight vanilla enchantments, including aerial control, underwater movement, and projectile interactions. Transfer enchantments from enchanted Proud Soul materials by striking a blade on a blade stand.
• Blade progression: Legacy Proud Soul interactions, broken-blade drops, repair mechanics, and conditional durability recovery through sheathing. Resharped's bulk Proud Soul refining remains available.
• Sheathing taunts: Complete a sheathing action under the appropriate conditions to provoke nearby enemies and gain style rank.
• Dedicated lock-on binding: Assign a separate key to the existing lock-on action.

Choose your combat mode

Press F8 by default to switch between legacy combat and Resharped combat. Each player has an individual mode setting, allowing different combat styles on the same server.

Switching preserves your blade's kill count, Proud Souls, refinement, durability, enchantments, and saved Special Attacks.

A pending switch waits until you are grounded, have released attack inputs, completed sheathing and active sword arts, and closed container screens. Press the key again to cancel.

Legacy-only Special Attacks without a Resharped equivalent temporarily use a fallback in Resharped mode and are restored when you switch back.

Installation and compatibility

Requires SlashBlade: Resharped. Install this addon on both the client and server for multiplayer.

Legacy mechanics may be controlled by server configuration. Addon-specific SA, SE, and energy rules remain subject to their source mods, including whether a particular SE can be copied.
