Slabbed 0.5.2-beta.4 — Forge 1.20.1
Fixed
- Rails now slope to meet the rail next to them. A rail on a lowered block used to keep vanilla's grid slope, so where it met a rail on a full block the two didn't line up, and a ramp climbing onto a lowered rail floated half a block above it. Each straight rail now fits its slope to the rail it actually connects to: a lowered rail rises half a block to meet a flush neighbor, a ramp onto a lowered rail is only half as steep, and a lowered rail between two flush ones sits in a shallow V. The outline and targeting box follow the same slope. Curves are unchanged, and no stored height moves. Thanks to leon28012013-lang on GitHub for reporting this (GitHub issue #81).
- Powered rails on lowered blocks take power from what touches them. A powered rail on a slab sits one grid cell above the slab but is drawn inside the slab's cell, so a torch, wire or lever standing beside the slab (or a torch under it) never powered it, and an unpowered powered rail is a brake. It now listens at the cell it is drawn in, both for its own power and when it passes power along a chain.
- Redstone dust carries power down a lowered half-step. Dust on a slab is drawn half a block above the dust beside it. Power climbed that step but never came back down. Dust now reads the wire drawn in the cell beside it, so a line of dust runs down a staircase of slabs as well as up it. Dust on a top slab or on glowstone keeps vanilla's one-way step.
Beta 4 continues this line's beta series.
