Overview

SkyzerFusionCore is a comprehensive content mod that introduces 25+ interconnected gameplay systems designed for survival modpack environments. Built and tested in a 206-mod modpack, it provides a unified progression framework that seamlessly integrates with existing mods like Mekanism, Botania, and Galacticraft.

At its core lies the Aether Energy System — a hybrid energy that converts RF and Mana into a new universal resource, powering everything from gem socketing to teleportation networks, combat mechanics to NPC guards.

Aether Condenser — Multiblock structure that converts RF (Redstone Flux) and Mana into Aether Energy
Aether Storage Cells — 4-tier storage system (Basic/Advanced/Elite/Ultimate) with up to 100M capacity
Aether Cables — Energy transfer network connecting your machines
Aether Crystals — Portable energy. Withdraw from Storage Cells, right-click to add to your personal balance
Energy Injector — Creative-only block for testing setups

Full conversion cycle: RF/Mana → Condenser → Storage Cell → Withdraw → Aether Crystal → Right-click → Player Balance

4 Cursed Gems — Extremely powerful with dangerous drawbacks:

Cursed Ruby, Cursed Sapphire, Cursed Emerald, Cursed Void

Gem Fusion Altar — 3x3 multiblock to fuse gems:

3 identical gems → Perfect Gem (2x effects)
3 different gems → Hybrid Gem (combined effects)
Cost: 10,000 Aether per fusion

Gem Extractor — Extract gems from equipment with risk:

70% chance: gem extracted, item intact
20% chance: gem extracted, item loses 1 socket
10% chance: item destroyed, gem recovered

Modular Tools System

Build custom tools from interchangeable parts — head, binding, and handle — each with unique stats.

Combat Systems

Five interconnected combat mechanics that reward skilled play.

Combo Counter — Build hit streaks for escalating bonuses:

x10 hits: +25% damage
x25 hits: Berserk mode + 5% lifesteal
x50 hits: Guaranteed critical hits
HUD overlay with animated progress bar
3-second timeout between hits

Kill Streak Rewards — Chain kills without dying:

5 kills: +10% XP
10 kills: +25% drops
25 kills: Regeneration II
50 kills: 5s invincibility
100 kills: Server broadcast

Dodge Roll — Press V to roll with invincibility frames:

0.5 second i-frames (complete damage immunity)
Velocity boost in movement direction
2 second cooldown, costs 50 Aether
Smoke and sweep particle effects

Last Stand — Automatic survival mechanic below 10% HP:

Triggers: Resistance V (2s), Strength II (5s), Speed II (5s), Regen (5s)
Dramatic visual explosion effects
Costs 1,000 Aether, one activation per life

Damage Numbers — Floating combat feedback:

Color-coded: White (physical), Yellow (critical), Red (fire), Blue (magic)

Quest System

A complete quest framework with visual GUI, web editor, and built-in shop.

Visual Quest Tree — FTB-style interface with pan/zoom navigation and dependency lines
9 Goal Types: Kill, Mine (Break), Craft, Smelt, Collect, Place, Walk Distance, Explore Biome, Explore Dimension

Guard System

Summon NPC guards to protect your base.

3 Guard Types:

Sword Guard — Melee fighter, high HP
Axe Guard — Heavy hitter, slower
Archer Guard — Ranged attacker with custom arrows

Features:

Spawn guards with craftable spawner items
Guards follow their owner or patrol an area
Configurable entity whitelist (guards won't attack whitelisted mobs/players)
Owner protection: guards never attack their owner, even if provoked
Toggle guard modes with keybind
Full AI: target selection, follow owner, protect area, return to post

Living Tools

Unbreakable tools that gain XP and evolve through 100 levels.

Living Tool Core — Crafted with Aether Crystals + Diamond Blocks + Nether Star
Combine any vanilla tool with a Living Tool Core to create a Living Tool
Durability bar = XP progress bar (visual level progression)
XP gains: mining (+1/block), killing (+10/kill), chopping (+2/log)

Milestones:

Level 10: +10% mining efficiency
Level 25: +10% damage and speed
Level 50: +50% XP gain multiplier
Level 75: +50% efficiency
Level 100: +1 Fortune/Looting bonus

Aether Tattoos

Permanent passive buffs with 6 specializations. Use /tattoo command.

Configuration

All features are configurable via JSON files in config/skyzer/:

Enable/disable individual modules
Adjust energy ratios and conversion rates
Configure combat parameters (combo timing, dodge costs, etc.)
Set teleportation cooldowns, warmup times, and Aether costs
Customize quest rewards, shop prices, and tattoo costs
Configure guard whitelist and behavior

Quest and shop data is stored per-world in world/skyzerquest/.
