SkyOrchards

Sky Orchards brings resource trees to Minecraft 1.20.1, porting the classic SkyFactory mod to modern Forge.

Grow ore-infused trees from saplings and harvest valuable resources directly from the world. Each tree type produces unique drops from its logs and leaves, with colored bark and foliage to distinguish them at a glance.

Features:

• 5 default ore trees: Iron, Gold, Lapis, Diamond, and Redstone
• Each tree drops its ore resin and acorns from leaves and logs
• Craft amber blocks using 5 resin and 4 acorns in a checkerboard pattern
• Roast acorns in a furnace for a small food source
• Fully config-driven — modpack creators can add custom ore types, colors, and drop rates
• Designed as a base mod for modpack integration, not a standalone experience

Intended for modpack use. Sky Orchards is a framework — the default 5 trees are just a starting point. Pack makers can define their own ore types via config to build progression systems around resource trees.
