What's new

SkyBlock Simplified — 1.0.0-beta.10

Requires Minecraft 26.2 with Fabric. Client-side only; nothing is installed on a server.

This release also carries everything from betas 6 to 9, which were never published here. The biggest changes: the mod no longer downloads any resource pack; Build Tools (select, copy, save and paste builds as holograms); a Cinematic Camera; Heart of the Mountain perk advice; Forge Timers and ability-ready alerts; Garden visitor, pest-value and farming-speed cards; the Chocolate Factory helper; the Croesus overlay; the Museum helper; and your inventory can be moved anywhere on screen. Some new features say on their settings row that nobody has checked them in game yet; each entry says which.

What's new in beta 10

Released 2026-09-30 — 35 changes

Resource packs are no longer downloaded by the mod

Resource packs are no longer downloaded by the mod: use Open download page and install them yourself. The Texture Pack page's Hypixel+ and Furfsky Reborn buttons now open the pack's official page; put the file you download into your resourcepacks folder and the pack appears in Pack Theme Mode as before. Ignore Enforced Texture Packs still keeps Hypixel's own pack underneath as a fallback, but now uses the copy Minecraft itself saved the last time you joined with the server pack accepted - if you have never done that, join once with it accepted. The copy older versions downloaded into the mod's folder is deleted. 2026-09-30

Equipped Loadout card remembers your loadout

The Equipped Loadout card now remembers the loadout you last had on in the Loadouts menu. It keeps showing that loadout's number, name, equipment, power and pet after a restart, an island change or a swapped armour piece, until you open the Loadouts menu again; if your armour no longer matches, the card says "changed since last Loadouts visit" instead of switching. 2026-09-30

Double-click gathering works again with locked slots

With Slot Lock on, double-clicking an item to gather a stack did nothing at all whenever a locked slot held the same item, even if the locked stack would never have been touched. Now gathering fills your cursor from the other stacks as usual and is refused only when it would really take items out of a locked slot. 2026-09-28

Lane End Warning: farms with their own lanes, marked in a few presses

Instead of one rectangle, you now mark farms, each with as many lanes as it has - different lengths, gaps and offset starts are fine. Press Lane Start at one end of a lane, walk, press Lane End at the other, and the next Lane Start begins the next lane; /sbs lane repeat 9 3 copies the last lane nine times, three blocks apart, for evenly spaced farms. A farm belongs to the plot you mark it on, and the warning sounds before the end of whichever lane you are in. While you hold a farming tool, lanes are drawn with a start and end marker and their number. Manage them in the new Farms screen (/sbs lane list). Your existing lane areas are kept: each becomes a farm of its own. 2026-09-28

Fixed item data sometimes missing after starting the game

Item icons were being built too early during startup, and when that failed it took the whole item catalogue down with it: NPC sell prices, Museum data, categories and icons could all be missing until the next restart. The item data now loads on its own, and icons follow once you are in a world. 2026-09-28

Lane End Warning now only uses the lane areas you mark yourself

There is no automatic lane detection any more. Mark a lane area on the Garden with two corners (the Lane Corner keys, unbound by default, or /sbs lane pos1 and pos2), and the warning sounds a few blocks before whichever edge of that area you are heading to while you break crops. Areas are outlined with arrows at their ends and can be renamed, turned or deleted in /sbs lane list. 2026-09-28

Freecam on servers: your own Private Island and Gardens only

On servers, both freecam modes now work only on your own Private Island and on Gardens - your own, or one you are visiting, so you can look at another player's farm layout. Someone else's island is no longer allowed, and the "Freecam On All Islands" setting is gone. Leaving those places turns freecam off straight away. Everything else stays as it was: nothing extra is sent to the server, other players and mobs stay hidden, and singleplayer has no limits. 2026-09-28

Farming Speed card stays up on the Garden

The Farming Speed card is now shown on the Garden the whole time it is switched on, whatever you are holding: idle it reads BPS 0.0 dimmed, instead of disappearing 30 seconds after your last crop. It is Garden only now; on other farming islands it no longer appears or counts. Sunflower, Wild Rose and Moonflower count on the Garden even without a flower tool in hand. 2026-09-28

HotM advisor knows the upper tiers properly

Tiers 6 to 9 of the Heart of the Mountain are now taken from the real menu instead of guesses: correct names, places, maximum levels and costs. Several perks were mixed up before - Eager Adventurer is mining speed in a mineshaft, Metal Head is the Dwarven-metal fortune, Strong Arm the Dwarven-metal speed - so Mithril and Glacite advice now points at the right perks. Tier 10 is still an estimate. 2026-09-28

Which Heart of the Mountain perk to take next

/sbs hotm now tells you which perk level is worth your powder next for your goal: Mithril, Gemstone, Glacite, Commissions or Scatha hunting. It ranks by what a level gives for that goal against what it costs, shows your progress towards a recommended tree and what to skip, and a short version sits beside the Heart of the Mountain menu. It only advises; it never clicks a perk. Open the menu once (scroll up to see every tier) so it knows your tree. 2026-09-27

Get told when your ability is ready again

When Hypixel says an ability is available again - "Pickobulus is now available!" - you now get a "Pickobulus ready" title and ping. Every ability you use appears in a list on the Mining Helpers page to switch on or off; mining and axe abilities start on. An optional countdown line shows the time left once the mod has seen one full cooldown. Also ends the item's cooldown overlay the moment the ability is back. 2026-09-27

Forge Timers: see when each forge slot is ready

New on the Forge page, off by default while it is being tested: open the forge once and a card shows what is in each slot and how long it has left, and you get a message when a slot is ready - also right after you join if it finished while you were offline. The time is read from the forge menu itself, so Quick Forge is already counted in. 2026-09-27

Pest Profit counts what your Pest Traps catch

Emptying a Pest Trap now counts its loot on the Pest Profit card, in the total, the per-hour figure and the profile total, with its own "from traps" line. "Include Pest Trap loot" on Garden Helpers leaves it out of the totals. Trap detection is an estimate until it has been checked in game. 2026-09-27

Ender Chest and backpack changes survive a restart

Changes in your Ender Chest and backpacks are now saved reliably, also right before closing. Before, items moved or added in the first seconds after opening a page were lost on restart until you opened that page again. The Accessory Bag and Hunting shard caches had the same gap and are fixed too. 2026-09-27

Rare farming drops are counted and announced

While you farm with a farming tool on a farming island, rare crop drops like Cropie, Squash and Fermento are counted for the session and all-time per profile. A new Farm Drops card shows the count, the value and drops per hour. A RARE drop gets a chat line and VERY RARE and rarer a title and sound; both are adjustable under Farming. Slayer and fishing drops announced as VERY RARE, with the item in brackets, are now recognised too; before, they were missed. 2026-09-27

Visitors with a rare reward glow on the Garden

Once you have opened a visitor's menu, a visitor offering a rare reward (the ones the Refuse-Guard protects, like Overgrown Grass) now glows gold on the Garden with its name and the reward above it, so you can spot the jackpot from across your plot. Visitors you have not opened yet show a small "? open to check" instead - a reward is never guessed. Both can be switched off on Garden Helpers. 2026-09-27

See what your pests are worth

A new Pest Profit card on the Garden counts the pests you kill and what they drop, priced at the Bazaar: the total, per hour and per pest, how many of each pest, your best drops, and a running total for your profile. Turn it off or reset it under Garden Helpers. Not checked in game yet - the pest kill and drop messages were guessed, so some drops may be missing until they are confirmed. 2026-09-27

When the next Garden visitor arrives

A new Garden card shows how many visitors are waiting and when the next one arrives, and turns amber with "Queue full" when no more can come. You can be alerted once when the queue fills, and optionally each time a new visitor arrives. It reads the Visitors tab widget; if that widget is off, the card tells you to turn it on in /widgets. Switch it on and off under Garden Helpers. 2026-09-27

See how fast you are farming

A new Farming Speed card shows how many crops you break per second - over the last second and averaged over five - with the crop's icon, your best this session, your usual speed and a small graph of the last minute. It dims when you stop and can warn you once when you fall well below your usual speed for a few seconds, which usually means lag, a wrong key or being stuck; letting go for a moment never sets it off. The card is on in the Farming settings, the warning is off until you turn it on. Not checked in game yet, so if the number is far from what you count, please report it. 2026-09-27

Recipe Viewer: the Pets filter works, and pets show their real tooltip

The Pets chip no longer shows "0 pets" after a restart. Hovering a pet now shows its stats and abilities with their real values at max level and highest rarity, and its detail view lets you pick the rarity and level. The first start after this update downloads the recipe data once more. 2026-09-26

Recipe Viewer: show only items, pets or NPCs

Chips above the Recipe Viewer's search bar narrow the list to Items, Pets or NPCs (or All), with or without a search, and show how many match. Tab and Shift-Tab switch between them while you type, and your choice is remembered. 2026-09-26

Freecam sends nothing extra to the server

While either freecam is on, the game now only sends the server what it would send with you standing still: staying connected, your real position (never the camera's), what you type in chat, and menu clicks while a menu is open. Anything else is held back instead of sent. One change you may notice: if you start freecam while sneaking, the server still sees you sneaking until you sneak again after. 2026-09-26

Build freecam works like holding the Magic Stick Thingy

In //freecam, left-click sets corner 1 and right-click corner 2 where the camera looks, whatever you hold - also on servers, where it still never breaks, places or uses anything. The block outline, the live area box, Alt + wheel "step deeper" and a new help card on the Build Tools card show just as with the stick. New for both: sneak + right-click in the air clears the selection. 2026-09-26

Cinematic Camera: a freecam for videos

A new Cinematic Camera page gives a second freecam for filming, with its own key and /sbs freecam, working even with Build Tools off. It is only a camera: clicks do nothing and nothing is selected or outlined. The HUD is hidden like F1 while you fly (the Freecam chip shows for 2 seconds), holograms and waypoints can be kept with Show World Markers, and the camera glides with adjustable smoothing, finer slow speeds and smoothed mouse look. On servers it has the same limits as build freecam, set on its own page and off by default. Pressing one freecam's key while the other runs switches over without jumping back to you, and the Freecam chip says which one is on. 2026-09-26

Blueprint copies keep water, lava and head skins

Copying a Garden plot or an area now shows water and lava in the hologram at their real height, and player heads with their own skin instead of nothing. A head wearing a different skin, or water at the wrong level, is now marked wrong. Chests, signs and other such blocks show as a filled box rather than an empty outline. In singleplayer, pasted heads keep their skin. 2026-09-26

Move your inventory anywhere

New on the Inventory Overlay page, off by default: "Inventory as a Window" gives the inventory a title bar. Drag it to put the inventory wherever you like, click - to fold it down to the bar, and double-click the bar to send it back to the middle. It opens where you left it, even after a restart. "Apply To" can extend it to every chest and SkyBlock menu, which share one spot. Folding is refused while you hold an item on the cursor, so nothing can be dropped by accident. 2026-09-26

Esc now removes a key binding; Backspace can be bound

While a keybind field is waiting for a key, Esc clears the binding and Backspace is bound like any other key. This is a change if you are used to Backspace unbinding. To back out without changing anything, click the field again or click somewhere else. The field now shows "Press a key · Esc: unbind" while it waits. Right-clicking a bound settings field still clears it. 2026-09-26

Custom pest cooldown now actually overrides the cooldown everywhere

With Custom Cooldown on, your own length is now the cooldown on the cooldown card, the Pest Timer and Pest Status cards and the "pests can spawn" alert. Before, it was ignored whenever Hypixel showed its own number in the tab list, which on the Garden is almost always. The countdown is marked "custom". Hypixel's number is shown small underneath when the two differ by more than 5 seconds; a new setting turns that off. Pests at the cap still read "max pests". Until the first pest spawns after you join, there is nothing to count your length from, so Hypixel's number is shown. 2026-09-26

Fairy Souls no longer marks decorative heads

Fairy Souls stopped boxing decorative player heads as "seen nearby" souls. The souls it learns by itself are now checked against the known soul list, and they are drawn in cyan as "unconfirmed". Collected souls are now matched to the one you clicked, so two souls close together both get recorded, and a soul collected just after joining is no longer lost. 2026-09-26

The creative inventory in the SBS look

With the Minecraft Overlay on, the singleplayer creative menu now uses the SBS panel too: the tabs, the scroll bar, the search field, the slots and the Destroy Item slot, on every tab, all still working as before. The coin total card no longer shows in creative, where it covered the top tabs. 2026-09-26

Build Tools: build with the block in your hand

Type "hand" instead of a block name - //set hand, //replace dirt hand, //walls hand, or mixes like 50%hand,50%stone - and Build Tools uses the block you are holding (a slab or stair keeps its shape). A plain //set now does the same, and still shows its preview first. Holding the Magic Stick Thingy? Then the block in your off hand is used. "offhand" asks for the off hand directly. 2026-09-26

Build Tools: a library screen and a help card

//library (or its key, or "Manage..." in Quick Paste) opens your saved builds with a large preview you can turn in 90° steps, what each build is made of, and buttons for everything: paste, rename, duplicate, delete (press twice), share code, favourite, tags and folder. A new help card shows the commands and keys for what you are doing - holding the Magic Stick Thingy, with a selection, or placing a hologram - with your own key bindings. It is on by default and movable like every card. 2026-09-26

Ending a Build Tools selection is easy now

Sneak and right-click on air with the Magic Stick Thingy to clear your selection (Backspace does the same while you hold it; on servers, Sneak with your corner 2 key while looking at the sky). Clicking corner 1 on a finished selection starts a new one. The selection box now only shows while you hold the stick or just used a build command, so a leftover box no longer floats around; your selection is still kept for //copy. The size label says "1 block", and a lone first corner tells you how to clear it. 2026-09-26

Every route shows at once, each in its own colour

Features that route you no longer take the path away from each other. With the scoreboard objective and fairy souls both on, you now see both routes at the same time - each in its own colour with a pillar and its name and distance at the end - instead of one route jumping between the two. A route whose target flickers out for a moment stays put. The new Routes page sets each route's colour and marker, how many run at once (4) and a small list card of the active routes. 2026-09-26

Auction House searches are no longer saved as a backpack

Searching the Auction House for "backpack" no longer saves the results as Backpack 1 and shows them as its contents, and a search for "sack" no longer opens the sack panel. Storage is now recognised only by its exact menu title; a wrongly saved entry from before is removed the next time the storage list loads. Your real backpacks, Ender Chest pages, sacks and museum pages are unaffected. 2026-09-26

What's new in beta 9

Released 2026-09-25 — 17 changes

Build Tools: freecam for selecting blocks you cannot reach

//freecam (or its key) lets the camera fly off while your character stays exactly where it is, so you can select blocks inside walls or closed rooms: with the Magic Stick Thingy, the corner keys or //pos1 and //pos2, and Alt+scroll to pick the block behind the one you look at. While it is on, clicks only set selection corners - you cannot break, use or hit anything through a wall - and the block you are aiming at is outlined with its name. On servers it is off until you switch it on, then only on your Private Island and Garden, within 32 blocks, with players and mobs hidden, and never in dungeons, Kuudra or the Rift. It snaps back when you open the pause menu, take damage or are moved. 2026-09-25

Streamer Mode can now blur names and show a rank of your choice

Streamer Mode can now blur names and show a rank of your choice, only on your screen. Names can be drawn scrambled instead of removed, and your own name can show any rank from None to MVP++ (with your pick of plus colour) plus a SkyBlock level of your choosing, coloured like a real one of that height. Other players still see you exactly as you are. 2026-09-25

Every SBS command in one place

A new Commands page at the top of the SBS menu lists every command with what it does - click one and it is typed into chat for you to finish. /sbs help shows the same list in chat. Tab completion now offers all of them: about half were missing before, including /sbs cph, /sbs visitors, /sbs minions, /sbs protect and /sbs where. 2026-09-25

Make each screen as see-through as you like

Every screen can now have its own transparency: hold Ctrl and scroll over the Bazaar, your Pets menu, the SBS settings or your inventory, and only that screen changes - paged menus like Pets keep one value for all their pages. Ctrl + middle click puts a screen back to the Surface Opacity slider. The Theme page lists every screen you have changed, each with its own slider and a reset, plus a "reset all". Text, items and buttons' labels stay fully readable, the HUD keeps its own settings, and no screen goes below 20% so you can always find its buttons. 2026-09-25

The Equipped Loadout card moves with you

The player on the Equipped Loadout card now copies what you do - walking, sneaking, the items in your hands, drawing a bow, eating, swinging a sword, where you look - while still wearing the loadout's own armour. Switch it off with "Mirror My Player" on the Skyblock Menu page to get the still model back. 2026-09-25

The route to your objective is now on for everyone

When your scoreboard's Objective names someone or somewhere SBS knows - an NPC, or now also a place like the Barn or the Royal Mines - you get a marker and the route there, with nothing else: no chat messages, no alerts, and nothing at all when the objective names something unknown or asks you to collect items. It is now switched on by default, including if you had it off before. A map click or a Quest Guide step always takes priority. Don't want it right now? /sbs objective off hides it until the objective changes (or bind a key for that); to switch it off for good, untick "Route To Objective" on the Objective Route page under Quality of Life. On another island, /sbs objective go warps you towards it - it never warps on its own. 2026-09-25

Routes to another island no longer end at a tree branch

When a waypoint is on an island you cannot walk to, the route no longer leads confidently to whatever sticks out nearest; the waypoint says "no route to that island known" instead. Jump pads you take are remembered - jumps and teleport abilities never count - and once one is known the route uses it: an arc shows the flight and a hint marks the pad to step on. Pads that send you to another server are remembered too, and the map marks the right pad when you travel to that island. 2026-09-25

Build Tools: build guide, material list, swaps and smart select

//guide shows a hologram one layer at a time - scroll to change layer - with every block marked right or wrong, how many are left, and a green box on the next block to place. //materials lists the blocks a build needs, how many you already carry and, on Hypixel, roughly what the rest cost at the Bazaar (where the Bazaar sells them). //swap oak spruce turns every oak block of a hologram into spruce before you place it, without changing the saved build. //select connected selects the build you are looking at without picking corners. While placing, the card now says how many blocks the whole paste would overwrite. All of these only read and show, so they work on servers too. Build Tools commands are now typed with two slashes (//set, //copy, //paste; /.. still works), the stick comes from //stick, and while you hold it the box from your first corner follows your crosshair, with its size, until you click the second. 2026-09-25

Build Tools: Quick Paste, thumbnails and share codes

A Quick Paste key (or //quick) opens a grid of your saved builds, each with a small picture, its size, block count and date. Type to search by name, #tag or folder; favourites come first. Click a build to have it follow your look point as a hologram, ready to place; right-click to favourite, rename, tag, file it in a folder, copy a share code, or delete it (deleted builds go to a .deleted folder you can restore from). //share copies a build as a text code you can paste to a friend, and //import reads one from your clipboard. //export and //import also work with Minecraft's own structure files (.nbt), so builds can go to and from structure blocks. 2026-09-25

Build Tools: edit singleplayer worlds, with a preview and a timeline undo

In singleplayer, Build Tools can now change the world: //set, replace, walls, outline, hollow, fill, move, stack and cut, with block mixes like 50%stone,50%andesite. Every edit is shown first as a hologram - green where blocks appear or change, red where they go - and only happens when you press Enter (Esc cancels, a ! at the end skips the preview). Big edits run over several ticks with a progress bar and can be stopped with //cancel. //undo and //redo step back and forth, and //timeline lists every edit with its time so you can jump straight back to any of them. Pressing Enter on a pasted hologram now places it. None of this works on servers - there Build Tools only shows. 2026-09-25

Build Tools: select, copy, save and paste builds as holograms

A new Build Tools page (Quality of Life, off by default). Mark a box with two corners - in singleplayer with the Magic Stick Thingy from //stick, anywhere with the two corner keys or //pos1 and //pos2 - then //copy, //save a name, and //paste to see it as a hologram. Move it with the arrow keys and the mouse wheel, turn it with R, mirror it with F, snap it to the Garden plot grid with G, and press Enter to pin it where you want to build. Blocks it would cover show in red. On a server Build Tools only reads and shows: it never places or breaks a block. Type //help for every command. 2026-09-25

Garden Blueprint copies can be saved

A new "Save To Library" button on the Garden Blueprint page keeps the plot or area you copied, under its name and the date, in a visible folder (config/sbs/schematics). Copies used to vanish when you closed the game. Nothing else about Garden Blueprint changes: same keys, same colours, same ghost. 2026-09-25

Jacob's Contest card

During a Jacob's Contest a card shows the crop, time left, how much you have collected and your bracket, with your pace and an estimate of where you finish. Optional alerts when you move up a bracket and at the last minute. Settings on the Farming page. The sidebar wording is still being checked, so some lines may read "?" at first. 2026-09-25

Hiding block particles now hides the crop dust too

Hiding block particles now also hides the dust from breaking crops and blocks - yours and other players' - and the little bits that fly off while you mine. Break sounds and the cracking overlay are unchanged. It follows the "block" entry in the Particles list, so the Reduced preset covers it too. 2026-09-25

Hide Nearby Players can clear the crowd around an NPC

A second mode for Hide Nearby Players: players standing around an NPC you are close to - the Bazaar or the Banker in the Hub, say - are not drawn, so you can see the NPC. It only acts within 10 blocks of you and 3 blocks of the NPC (you can change that), works alongside the normal mode or on its own, and keeps your party, dungeon team and Trusted players visible. Like the rest of the feature it only changes what you see: your click still hits whoever you are really pointing at, never the NPC behind them, and a short line under the crosshair tells you when a hidden player is in the way. 2026-09-25

Arrange the settings sidebar your way

SBS Settings has a new "Edit Sidebar Layout" button: drag the categories into the order you like, move pages between categories, and make categories of your own - rename them, fold them, find them by name in the search. It is saved with your config profile and comes along when you share your settings. Pages added by a later update show up in their usual category marked "new", so nothing goes missing. "Reset to default" brings the built-in layout back. If you never open the editor, nothing changes. 2026-09-25

Equipped Loadout card is complete right after a restart

The Equipped Loadout card now shows your last loadout with its name, equipment and power as soon as you join, instead of a bare "Equipped" card until you opened the Loadouts menu. Until your armour confirms it, the card says "last known"; it switches only when you are provably wearing another loadout. The loadout cache is also no longer rewritten every second while you wear a loadout. 2026-09-25

What's new in beta 8

Released 2026-09-25 — 17 changes

Your equipment beside your armour in the inventory

Your necklace, cloak, belt and gloves now sit in four frames next to your armour when you open your inventory, the way the game shows the rest of what you wear - remembered from the last time you opened the Equipment menu, with a marker when that is old or you have changed loadout since. Clicking the column opens the Equipment menu. It starts switched off: the Equipment menu's layout has not been checked in game yet, so turn it on to try it. 2026-09-24

Gemstone slots on the tooltip

An item with gemstone slots now lists them on one line of its tooltip - which are filled and with what, which are unlocked but empty, and which are still locked - along with what the gems in it would sell for on the Bazaar. Slots that need a higher item level stay hidden until the item has it, as Hypixel's own tooltip does. 2026-09-24

Golden Fish timer for lava fishing

A card for the Crimson Isle that counts how long you have been lava fishing without a break and how long since your last cast, and while a Golden Fish is up, how long it has left. It can warn you when one appears and when you are about to lose your streak by idling. The timings are an estimate that nobody has checked against a real Golden Fish yet, so it starts switched off. 2026-09-25

Garden visitors: one shopping list for all of them

Everything the visitors waiting in your Garden want, added up into one list with what you already carry and what the rest costs on the Bazaar, plus which visitor gives the most copper for the coins. A visitor you have not opened yet is listed as "open once" rather than guessed at. It is on the Garden card, and /sbs visitors prints it in chat with each item one click from the Bazaar. 2026-09-25

The dungeon score card shows your run's blessings

The Dungeon Score card has a new last line with the blessings your team has picked up this run: Power, Life, Wisdom, Stone and Time, each with its levels added up. Blessings found before you joined a run - after a reconnect, say - cannot be seen, so the card then says "3+" (at least three) or "–" instead of pretending they are zero. On by default whenever the score card is on; switch it off with "Blessings (score)" on the Dungeons page. It has not been checked in a real run yet, so if a number does not match what chat said, that is worth reporting. 2026-09-25

Hide the players standing on top of you

A new Hide Nearby Players card under Visuals stops drawing other players close to you - within 5 blocks by default, or everywhere if you prefer - so a packed hub or a busy farm is readable again. Your party, your dungeon team and anyone you tagged Trusted in Player Notes stay visible, NPCs are never hidden, and in dungeons, Kuudra and while your slayer boss is up nobody is hidden unless you switch that on. It only changes what you see: hidden players can still be hit, bumped into and right-clicked. Off until you turn it on; a key of your choice pauses it. 2026-09-25

Item Stack Tips: pet levels, minion tiers and pass floors on the icon

Pets show their level, minions their tier and Catacombs passes their floor (M7 for Master Mode) as a small number in the top-left corner of the icon, in menus and on the hotbar. Each kind has its own switch on the Item Overlay page, next to a choice of menus, hotbar or both. 2026-09-25

Dungeons: a warning when a teammate drops low

In a dungeon run, SBS can tell you when a teammate's health falls below a share you choose (30% to start with) - "Steve (Tank) low: 18%" - once each time it happens, never for a dead teammate, and as chat, title, sound or voice as you pick. It can also turn their party box red while they are low, and can be set to only speak up while you are the Healer. It only tells you; it never heals or casts for you. Off until you turn it on: it reads the health on the sidebar, and that has not been checked in game yet. 2026-09-24

Bingo Card Overlay: your card's goals on screen

On a Bingo profile, open the Bingo Card menu once and a card on your screen lists the goals still to do, the community goals with their progress, and - if you want - the ones you have finished, struck through. It says how long ago the card was read, since it only updates when you open the menu, and it is remembered per profile across restarts. It starts switched off under Quality of Life: nobody has tried it on a real Bingo card yet, so it may read nothing until it has been checked. 2026-09-25

Coins per Hour: what your session actually earned

A new card shows how many coins you earned per hour of active play, whatever you are doing - farming, fighting, flipping. Bank deposits and withdrawals, refunded Bazaar orders and the things you buy are kept out of the rate and shown on their own, and anything the mod cannot explain gets its own "Unexplained" row instead of disappearing. Standing still for a few minutes pauses the clock, and switching profile starts a new session. Reset it any time with /sbs cph reset. Off until you turn it on, under Economy. 2026-09-25

Every SkyBlock event on the Event Timers card

The Event Timers card now also lists SkyBlock's calendar events - Hoppity's Hunt, Season of Jerry, the election, the Traveling Zoo, Spooky Festival, Cult of the Fallen Star, New Year and more - each with how long until it starts, or until it ends while it runs, green when it is on and yellow when it is coming. Whenever the tab list shows an event's own countdown, that is the number you see; the rest are worked out from the calendar and marked with a ~. Events that need a particular mayor only appear while that mayor is in office. Pick which events to show, how many, and an optional reminder before one starts, on the Event Timers page. 2026-09-25

Fallen Stars: which zone, and how long ago

When a Fallen Star crashes in your Dwarven Mines lobby, SBS now tells you which zone it landed in (chat and a ping by default), puts a waypoint on that zone, and shows a small line with the zone and how long ago it crashed. The game only names the zone, so the waypoint takes you to the zone, not to the star itself. It clears itself after half an hour or when you change lobby. Under Skills > Mining. 2026-09-25

NPC flips: shop items worth more on the Bazaar

Open an NPC's shop and the mod remembers what it charges. Anything you could buy there and sell on the Bazaar for more - after the Bazaar's tax - gets a green frame, with the profit per item and how much of it sells in a week on its tooltip, and the best ones show up as their own section in Best Flips, one click from the Bazaar page. It only knows the shops you have opened, and says how many. Nothing is bought for you. Switch it off or set a minimum profit and volume on the Bazaar page. 2026-09-25

Trophy Fish: every fish and tier, what is missing, and this session

A new Trophy Fish card (Skills) reads Odger's Trophy Fishing menu when you open it and shows every trophy fish with its Bronze to Diamond counts, or only what you are still missing, plus a session card with catches per hour and an alert on your first Gold or Diamond. Off by default for now: the menu and the catch message have not been checked in game yet. 2026-09-25

The recipe book beside the inventory matches the SBS look

With the SBS overlay on, only the recipe book's background used to be restyled; its category tabs, recipe tiles, page arrows and search box stayed light grey. All of them now follow the theme, and a recipe book another mod puts in place of Minecraft's can follow it too once "Theme Other Mods' Buttons" is switched on - off by default, as before, so nothing changes for anyone who has not turned it on. Everything is only redrawn, never moved: every tab, tile, arrow and the search box works exactly as it did, and with the overlay off the book looks exactly like Minecraft's. 2026-09-24

Museum Helper: see what your museum is still missing

Open your Museum's category pages once and the mod remembers what you have donated. From then on, any item you have not donated says so on its tooltip - "Museum: not donated · +5 XP" - wherever you see it: your inventory, a backpack, the Auction House or the Bazaar. Undonated items also get a small notch in the corner of their slot, and /sbs museum lists everything still missing per category with its XP and price, cheapest XP first, armor sets counted once. A category only counts after you have looked through all of its pages, so nothing is called missing from half a look, and the tooltip tells you when your last visit is more than a few days old. Prices come from market data the mod already has; unpriced items show a question mark rather than pretending to be free. Under Inventory & Items. Nothing is ever donated or clicked for you. 2026-09-24

Garden visitors: open what they want on the Bazaar in one click

When a Garden visitor's menu is open, a button beside it now names each item the visitor wants - "Bazaar: Enchanted Hay Bale ×2" - and clicking it opens that item on the Bazaar, so there is no /bz to type. Each button can also show roughly what the amount costs to buy right now. It opens the Bazaar and nothing more: buying is still yours to do. If the Bazaar refuses because you have no Cookie Buff, a chat line tells you why instead of nothing happening. Switch it off, or hide the cost, on the Garden Helpers page. Bazaar links in the Best Flips list now also ignore symbols in an item's name, as the order messages already did, so those searches find the item. 2026-09-24

What's new in beta 7

Released 2026-09-24 — 8 changes

Crystal Hollows treasure chests: your chest outlined, the lock's spot marked, the loot counted

When you uncover a treasure chest in the Crystal Hollows, it gets an outline until you open it - only your own, not one somebody else uncovers next to you. While you pick the lock, a small box sits on the spot the particles are showing, and clears when you click; you still aim and click yourself. The Powder card can also count the chests you opened this session and the powder they paid, with a per-hour rate. All three are under Mining Helpers and start switched off: nobody has checked the chest's chat lines in game yet, so they may not react at all until that is done. 2026-09-24

Player Notes: remember who you would party with again

Write yourself a note on another player - /sbs avoid Steve left at Maxor twice, /sbs trust Alex, or /sbs note for anything else - and you are told when they turn up: joining your party, on your dungeon team, or, if you switch it on, just nearby. One line in your own chat, once per party, with a button to edit the note and, if you lead the party and tagged them Avoid, a kick button. Nothing is kicked or sent unless you click it. /sbs notes lists them all to search and edit, and a note follows the player if they change their name. Your notes stay on your computer: they are never sent anywhere and are not included when you share your settings. Under Party & Chat. 2026-09-24

Reward chests wear their profit, and Croesus's run list can be marked

Every reward chest now has its own profit written on it - at Croesus and after a boss alike - so a menu of six reads at a glance instead of six hovers. A minus means it loses money, and a trailing + means something inside had no live price, so the real figure is at least the one shown. Chests that lose money can be outlined in red as well, which is new; the best chest stays green. A chest's tooltip also tells you what a Kismet Feather costs right now, so a reroll can be weighed against the chest in front of you. That is a price, not advice: what a reroll is worth would need the floor's drop tables, which this mod does not have and will not make up.

There is also a new "Croesus Run List" switch that colours the runs still holding a chest and dims the finished ones, with the number of chests left in the corner. It is off until you turn it on, and the reason is on the row: nobody has read that menu in game yet, so the wording it looks for sits in three fields on the page rather than in the code, and a run matching none of it is left alone rather than guessed at. The page shows what it actually recognised the last time you had Croesus open, so one trip is enough to correct it. Optionally it will remind you in the Dungeon Hub how many runs had chests waiting - always with how long ago it learned that, because it is remembered and not live.

All of it under Dungeons, beside the chest value calculator. Nothing here ever clicks, opens or rerolls anything. 2026-09-24

Metal Detector: work out where the treasure is instead of guessing

In the Mines of Divan, the detector tells you how far away the treasure is and nothing about which direction. Take a reading, walk somewhere else, take another, and the new Metal Detector helper narrows it down for you - three or four readings from spots that are not all in a straight line are usually enough to put a waypoint and an outline on the spot. It marks it and nothing else: it will not walk there, dig, or move your aim.

It tries not to lie to you. Readings taken along one tunnel cannot pin a point at all - they pin a ring around the tunnel - so it says nothing rather than pointing somewhere confident and wrong. When your readings disagree, the outline grows to match; when they were all taken at one height, the depth is worked out rather than measured and the outline becomes a column to dig down, in a dimmer colour. It starts over on its own when you dig one up, change lobby, or leave the mines.

Off by default for now. The exact wording the detector puts on your action bar has not been confirmed against a live game yet, so it may not pick anything up. Turn it on in Skills - Metal Detector if you want to try it. 2026-09-24

The Chocolate Factory tells you what to buy next

Working out which factory upgrade is actually worth buying means dividing its price by what it adds, for every slot, every time. The new Chocolate Factory helper does that from the menu's own numbers: it rings the upgrade that pays for itself soonest and writes each one's payback in its slot. There is also a movable card with your chocolate per second, the best buy, and how long until you can afford it.

It also watches the things that are easy to miss - a stray rabbit gets its slot ringed and one alert, the Rabbit Barn warns before it is too full for the next rabbit, and you are told when a Time Tower charge is sitting unused.

It never clicks anything, and there is no key on the page that could. The Chocolate Factory is exactly where clicking for the player would be cheating, so this rings the stray and you move your own mouse to it.

It starts switched off. The words it looks for in the menu have not been checked against the real thing yet, so they are a guess you can edit on the same page - and whatever it finds goes into your log either way, which is how the guess gets corrected. An upgrade it cannot read is left out of the ranking rather than guessed at, so the worst it can do is show you fewer upgrades, never the wrong one. 2026-09-24

The Experimentation Table helper can no longer stop you finishing

The misclick guard could refuse your clicks and never let go. In Chronomatron it had no way out at all: if it missed one flash of the sequence it would reject every tile but the one it wrongly expected, for the whole round. Worse, if it never noticed the round had moved on to your turn, it read the tiles lighting up under your own clicks as the game still showing the sequence - so every click you did land pushed its "the board has gone quiet" timer another three seconds away, and you were left clicking about once every three seconds against a countdown.

Both games now give up after two refused clicks in a row and stop blocking for the rest of the round, so you can always finish by hand. Ultrasequencer had a way out already, but it only counted two refusals of the same tile - and someone whose click is refused tries a different tile, not the same one again, so almost nobody could reach it. Any two in a row now count. Chronomatron also stops recording the sequence once it has given up, so your own clicks are no longer written into it and carried wrongly into the rounds after. 2026-09-23

A warning when your inventory is full

The moment you run out of room, the next thing you pick up is gone and nothing says so. The new Full Inventory Warning tells you - by title and sound out of the box, or through any of chat, the HUD or the narrator instead.

You choose how much warning you want. At 0 it fires when you are completely full; set it to 3 and you hear about it while there is still time to do something. It counts your hotbar and the twenty-seven slots above it, never your armor or offhand, and never the SkyBlock Menu item, which sits in a slot of its own.

It tells you once per filling, not once per second: after a warning it stays quiet until you have actually freed a slot, so clearing a vein does not turn into a stream of them. There is also an optional small "Free slots: N" chip you can drag anywhere, which appears only once you are at or under your number. Inside dungeons it stays quiet by default, where an inventory fills and empties constantly anyway. 2026-09-23

A warning when a minion has stopped working

A minion whose storage is full stops earning and says so on a little line above its head - which is no use at all when you are not looking at it. The new Stopped Minion Warning reads those lines on your island and tells you once when a minion stops, with a box and the reason drawn over the minion itself so you know which one. Emptying it clears the mark. You will find it on the Minion Calculator page.

It starts switched off, and here is why. Nobody has yet recorded the exact words Hypixel writes over a stopped minion, so the words this looks for are a guess. You can switch it on to try it, and you can edit the words yourself on the same page - whatever it finds written over one of your minions goes into your log either way, which is how the guess gets replaced by the real thing. Until it has, a stopped minion may go unreported. 2026-09-23

Open a sack and see everything in it, priced

A sack tells you what is inside it one item at a time, and never what any of it is worth. With the new Sack Overlay switch on, opening one puts a panel beside the menu listing every item with how much you are holding and what it would sell for, with the sack's total at the top. The sack itself is untouched - every slot clicks and withdraws exactly as before.

Switch the price between Sell Offer, Insta-Sell and NPC on the panel or in the settings, and every number changes at once: sell offer and insta-sell are the real top of the Bazaar book after the sell tax your Bazaar Flipper level sets, NPC is what a shop pays with no tax on it. Anything the market you picked does not price shows a dash rather than a zero, and the total gets a + to say it is a floor. Sort by value, amount or name; empty slots are hidden unless you want them.

It starts switched off, and that is deliberate. The amount a sack is holding is written in the item's tooltip rather than on the icon, and the exact wording has not been confirmed against a live sack yet - so until it has, any amount the panel shows could be wrong. You can switch it on under Skyblock Menu to try it; if the amounts look wrong, or the panel shows dashes where it should show numbers, that is why. 2026-09-23

The Crystal Hollows map fills itself in as you explore

The Hollows page of the map was empty, and it had to be: the Hollows are rebuilt every few hours, so there are no coordinates anyone can write down in advance. It now marks structures as you find them - walk into the Jungle Temple, Mines of Divan, the Goblin Queen's Den, Khazad-dum, the Fairy Grotto, the Lost Precursor City or the Dragon's Lair and it goes on the map where you found it, drifting to the middle of the place as you move around inside it. Click one to set a waypoint to it, the same as anywhere else on the map.

Coordinates people post in chat land on the map too, labelled with who posted them, using the chat waypoints you already have - so they expire on the same timer.

All of it belongs to the lobby you are in. Change server, leave the island or find a fresh set of Hollows and it is cleared, because a structure from the last lobby is somewhere else entirely now. Both halves have their own switch in the Map settings. 2026-09-23

The settings open where you can see what is selected

The settings remember the last page you had open, and could reopen on it with its whole group folded away: that page's settings on the right, and nothing in the list on the left to say which page it was. The group holding the page, and its heading, now open with the settings, and the list scrolls to it; the same happens when a link jumps you to a setting. If you fold it away yourself afterwards, it stays folded. 2026-09-23

Skills and two other groups in the settings are sorted by family

Opening Skills in the settings listed all thirty-one of its pages in one alphabet, so foraging pages like Sweep, Honey and Beacon Tuner turned up between Garden and Mining ones even if you never touch foraging. Skills is now split into Farming & Garden, Mining, Foraging, Hunting, Fishing and General, each under a small heading of its own that you can fold away, with the pages alphabetical inside each. Inventory & Items (Slots & Protection, Items & Tooltips, Menus) and Quality of Life (Navigation, Timers & Reminders, General) are split the same way; every other group looks exactly as it did.

The headings follow your Categories choice on the SBS Settings page, so with the default they start folded and opening Skills shows six headings rather than thirty-one pages. Searching for a family's name lists everything in it: "foraging" now finds all five foraging pages, including the three whose names never say it. And two page names too long for the list, Sea Creature Announcer and Frozen Corpse Highlight, used to run off its edge; they now end in "..." inside it. 2026-09-23

Locked slots can be linked for quick switching

Binding a slot to a hotbar slot and shift-clicking to exchange the two items did nothing when either slot was locked, and holding the swap key did not help, so gear you had locked could not be linked at all. It can now: a swap between two slots you linked yourself goes through whether or not either end is locked. Nothing else a lock forbids has changed - dropping, shift-selling, quick-move, dragging and the drop key on a locked hotbar slot are all still refused. Worth knowing: if the hotbar end of a binding is not itself locked, an item swapped into it sits in an unlocked slot and can be thrown from there, so lock both ends if you want the protection to follow the item. 2026-09-14
