Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
SkyBlock Simplified — 1.0.0-beta.12
Requires Minecraft 26.2 with Fabric. Client-side only; nothing is installed on a server.
21 changes since beta 11. The biggest: Diana's guesses rebuilt from a real recording, with a new Diana: Appearance page; reward chests outlined by their profit after a run; the next wither door marked for the whole party; Entity Hitboxes; Seymour Colours; a Chocolate Factory shortcut in the SkyBlock Menu; 236 more NPCs the NPC path can find; and Secret Routes, the puzzle solver and the blood helper now working on their own.
What's new in beta 12
Released 2026-10-04 — 21 changes
Routes with an Aspect of the End or Void: shorter, truer teleports
Routes that teleport with Instant Transmission now plan each hop as far as the ability really goes: a diagonal hop used to be planned up to 14 blocks long instead of 8. Ether Transmission no longer squeezes between two blocks that only meet at a corner. Inside buildings and under roofs the route now walks instead of planning short hops past shelves and display cases, and routes no longer lead across the top of glass panes, iron bars or fences. Not yet tried in game. 2026-10-04
The NPC path knows 236 more NPCs
"Path to this NPC" in the Recipe Viewer, and the NPC module's objective route, can now find NPCs in the Rift, Galatea (Moonglade Marsh and Torrhus Canyon), the Farming Islands, Jerry's Workshop, Spider's Den, Lotus Atoll, Backwater Bayou, the Gold Mine, Deep Caverns, Crystal Hollows, the Critter Safari, the Garden and the Dungeon Hub (Croesus included), plus more in the Hub. Where two sources disagree on where an NPC stands, the old position is kept until it is checked in game. 2026-10-04
Secret Routes, the puzzle solver and the blood helper work on their own
They only worked while room waypoints, the SBS Dungeon Map or the wither doors were switched on as well (or with developer mode). Each now works with just its own setting on. 2026-10-04
Dates in chat are no longer written like numbers
With number formatting on, a date in chat such as 2026-10-04 could come out as "2,026-10-04". Numbers joined by dashes - dates, times in file names - are now left exactly as written. 2026-10-04
/sbs devlog is now a developer tool
The Diana recording command /sbs devlog diana, and the other recording commands, now only work with developer mode on; without it they do nothing. To turn the Diana helper back on after it switched itself off, use /sbs diana clear or restart the game. 2026-10-04
Fixed a short freeze whenever an SBS alert played its sound
Alerts with sound on - a full inventory, the prompt to use your spade, and the rest - no longer make the game stutter for a moment while the ping plays. The ping itself sounds the same as before. 2026-10-04
Starred dungeon mobs you can see all get their box
Box Starred Mobs missed several starred mobs. Lost Adventurers, Shadow Assassins, Angry Archaeologists and Frozen Adventurers - the mobs that look like players - never got a box at all, and a mob half hidden behind a slab, a fence or a low wall was treated as out of sight. Now every starred mob you can see any part of is boxed, and a nametag hanging over two mobs boxes the one it belongs to. A mob completely behind a wall still gets no box. The same player-shaped mobs are now also picked up by Mob Highlight and the blood room helper. Not yet tried in game. 2026-10-04
Turning off the Profile Viewer frees /pv for other mods
Turning off the Profile Viewer now frees the /pv command for other mods. With it off, /pv goes on to another mod's /pv, or to the server, instead of SBS answering "Profile Viewer is disabled", and SBS stops suggesting it on Tab. Turning off the Party Finder frees /pf the same way. /sbs pv is new and always opens the SBS viewer while it is on. The "disabled" messages now name the right settings page (Party & Chat), and Shift + Click Chat Name is greyed out while the viewer is off. Not yet tried in game. 2026-10-04
Chocolate Factory: a shortcut in the SkyBlock Menu opens the factory with one click
A cocoa-bean button now sits on an empty slot of the SkyBlock Menu. Click it and the Chocolate Factory opens, just as if you had typed the command; hover it to see your chocolate, chocolate per second and best next upgrade from the last time you had the factory open. You can move it to any other empty slot or switch it off on the Chocolate Factory page. On by default; not yet tried in game. 2026-10-04
Wither doors: the next door to open is marked, and changes colour when the party has the key
The dungeon now marks one door: the next wither or blood door to open, the same one the map already shows next to an unexplored room, wherever you stand. It switches to the key colour as soon as anyone in the party picks up the key, not only you, and moves on to the following door once it is opened. Other closed doors are no longer boxed unless you turn on Show All Wither Doors; Line To Next Door adds a line from your crosshair to it. Not yet tried in game. 2026-10-04
Diana's guesses rebuilt from a real recording
We recorded a Diana session and rebuilt the Diana helper from it:
- Echo guess: it now reads how far away the burrow is from the rising notes Echo plays, and marks that spot along the trail. The old guess sent you the wrong way.
- Arrow guess: it no longer starts over each time you click while the arrow is still on screen.
- Distances: the arrow colours' distance ranges are filled in.
- Chains: a chain now ends when Hypixel says you finished it.
- Digs: a dig counts against the burrow even if your last click landed on the block next to it.
- Mobs: every message variant Hypixel uses when a dig spawns a mob ("Uh oh!", "Woah!", …) is now recognised.
All of this is new and not yet confirmed in a live session. 2026-10-04
Diana: choose what the Diana cards show and how the markers look
Diana: choose which lines the Diana panels show, in what order, and how burrow and guess markers look. A new Diana: Appearance page next to Diana lets you arrange the lines of both Diana cards - move a line from one card to the other, hide it, or add the new "Since King" count - and give each card a compact look. Every kind of marker (start, mob and treasure burrows, guesses, and rare or shared creatures) gets its own colour, box style, beam, label size, distance text and opacity. A preview shows sample cards and markers while you edit. Your current cards and markers look exactly as before until you change something. Not yet tried in game. 2026-10-04
Reward chests light up in the room
After a run, the reward chests themselves are outlined by what they are worth: green for the best, yellow for another that makes money, red for a loss, with the profit written above each one. A chest fills in once you have clicked it to look inside; until then it carries a grey "?". The chest you buy drops out. Same prices as the chest calculator. On by default; not yet tried in game. 2026-10-04
Loadout cards show your pet's applied skin
A loadout's pet could be drawn with the plain default head even though the pet wears a skin - for example when you also own an unskinned pet of the same kind, which used to overwrite it. The card now shows the skin of your active pet straight after a restart, before you open any menu, and once you have opened the Pets menu the other loadouts' pets show their own skins too. Two pets with the same name no longer replace each other. 2026-10-04
Entity Hitboxes: the F3+B box, for only what you choose
A new Visuals module draws the same hitbox as F3+B, but only around the kinds of entities you pick - other players, yourself, SkyBlock mobs, passive animals, hostile mobs, armour stands, item drops, projectiles or anything else - each kind in its own colour, within a distance you set (32 blocks by default). Like vanilla's, the boxes are hidden behind walls. NPCs and invisible entities are left out unless you include them, and F3+B keeps working on its own. Off by default; not yet tried in game. 2026-10-04
New defaults for a fresh install
A first start now begins with the settings the SBS team plays with. Switched on: the SBS Dungeon Map, wither doors, starred-mob boxes, room waypoints and the tank range, the Blood helper, Bestiary, Accessory Bag, Abiphone, Fishing, Fairy Souls, Pelt, Pickobolus, Looking At, the skill overlay, the Quest Guide, Case Opening, Build Tools, Performance (armour-stand culling at 24 blocks), Bazaar and lowest-BIN prices, item cooldowns, missing enchants on Shift, chroma maxed enchants, the item renamer, square rarity backgrounds, the Bazaar Manage Orders panel, Forge flips, Ether Warp target highlight, the Recipe Viewer as a window, the Loadout model on the SkyBlock menu, SBS Wardrobe, the inventory overlay in every container, chat selection and copy, clicking names in chat, your own nametag and the crosshair in third person, the active pet, cooldown, arrow and server-stats HUD lines, pest and infested-plot highlights, and the carry counter's boss highlight. Switched off: Collection Tracker, Rejoin Timer, Keep Mouse Position, shortened numbers (numbers are written out in full), the auction flip popups, Nukekubi alerts, explosion and fire overlays, and the vanilla armour bar and potion icons. Also new: a slimmer scoreboard (no border, half-transparent, white edge, the slayer quest listed, rarely needed rows hidden in the editor), a lighter tab list with ping hidden, the standard texture-pack theme, a looser local Bazaar flip filter, and new slayer, party and Ether Warp colours. If you already play SBS nothing changes - your settings stay exactly as they are. 2026-10-04
The in-game web browser no longer hides the top of the page
The toolbar of the Web Browser covered the top of every web page, so a site's header or Google's top bar was cut off. The page now starts below the toolbar, and clicks land exactly on what you see. The page stays in the same place and at the same size when you close the browser screen and it keeps showing while you play. 2026-10-04
Path to an NPC from the Recipe Viewer works without developer mode
Asking the Recipe Viewer for the path to an NPC now shows the marker and the route for everyone - it used to appear only with developer mode on. The route has its own colour and marker setting on the Routes page ("Path To NPC"). The marker is no longer saved with your settings, so one left over when you quit cannot reappear after a restart, possibly on the wrong island; old leftovers are removed. Shared Crystal Hollows structures had the same problem and now show without developer mode too. 2026-10-04
Garden Blueprint and build holograms: sugar cane, grass and leaves in their real colour
Sugar cane in a hologram is no longer drawn colourless. It, and grass, ferns, leaves, vines and other plants, now take the green of the biome they stand in, like the real block next to them, instead of one fixed default. Most visible on Garden sugar cane farms. 2026-10-04
Garden Blueprint and build holograms: water, lava and heads always show
Water in a hologram is now drawn in the water colour of the biome it sits in, not as a grey box, and the water in a waterlogged block stays visible at the lowest Model Opacity. A liquid, head or other block the 3D ghost can't draw now keeps its coloured fill instead of showing only an outline. //hologram debug writes how each fluid and head was drawn to the game log, so you can send it to us if one is still missing. 2026-10-04
Seymour Colours: how special is your Seymour piece's colour?
Hover a Velvet Top Hat, Cashmere Jacket, Satin Trousers or Oxford Shoes and three short lines tell you its hex, the armor piece or dye colour it comes closest to (with how close, and whether that counts as exact, near or close), and whether it is a pure grey, a pure colour or a hex pattern such as #ABCCBA. You can add your own hex words, and switch the lines on for every dyed leather piece. /sbs seymour opens the Seymour Collection: every piece in your inventory, your armor slots and the storages SBS has seen, with where each one is, sortable and searchable, and a button that copies the list as a spreadsheet (CSV). A piece you have dyed says its original colour cannot be read. Shows information only and sends nothing anywhere. On by default; not yet tried in game. 2026-10-04
