sky lsland

The Sky Island Archipelago was once a peaceful realm suspended above the sea of clouds. Two thousand years ago, an otherworldly rift tore open the sky, and a vast number of monsters poured into the Sky Islands. The Sky War erupted, and countless floating islands shattered in the flames of battle and fell toward the earth. The wreckage of the fallen islands gradually sank into the soil through weathering and erosion, leaving only scattered ruins across the world.

Now, the Primordial Floating Island is occupied by an Otherworld Beast King. It is not the true leader of the otherworldly invasion, but merely a gatekeeper left behind by the otherworldly vanguard at the entrance to the sky routes. It holds the Primordial Core Fragment and blocks the path to the higher floating islands, preventing heroes from advancing deeper into the Sky Island Archipelago.

The hero will follow the ruins of the fallen islands to ascend to the Primordial Floating Island, defeat this gatekeeper Beast King, recover the Primordial Core Fragment, and open the sky route to the higher floating islands. But this is only the beginning—the Primordial Floating Island is merely the outermost beginner island of the Sky Island Archipelago. Otherworldly nodes remain rooted on various floating islands, occupied by even stronger otherworldly Bosses. The hero must advance island by island, clear the nodes, defeat stronger enemies, and ultimately destroy the source of the otherworldly invasion, so that the fallen archipelago may return to the sky.
