Skills Pro

Skills Pro is a progression mod for Minecraft that slows down equipment progression and makes survival feel more rewarding.

Instead of allowing players to instantly use strong gear, the mod adds a skill system. Players must level up different skills before they can properly use stronger weapons, armor, and tools.

The mod currently includes these skill categories:

Combat

Defense

Each skill controls access to related equipment. For example, combat affects melee weapons, mining affects pickaxes and shovels, defense affects armor and shields, and farming affects hoes and fishing rods.

Why use this mod?

Skills Pro is made for players and modpack creators who want slower, more meaningful progression. It makes equipment upgrades feel earned instead of instant.

The goal is not to completely replace Minecraft progression, but to make it more gradual and interesting.

Development status

The mod is currently in active development. More updates, balance changes, skills, abilities, and compatibility improvements are planned for future versions.
