Features

Timers continue while items are carried, dropped, moved, or left on the ground.
The timer is shown in the tooltip as the remaining number of seconds.
Chests, barrels, hoppers, furnaces, dispensers, droppers, brewing stands, shulker boxes, ender chests, and other container storage keep items safe.
Moving an item into safe storage removes its timer. Taking it out starts a fresh 60 seconds.
Splitting stacks keeps the same expiration time, and merging uses the earliest expiration.
Dropped items retain their remaining time, including items dropped on death.

How to Use

Pick up or otherwise receive an item to start its timer. Put it into a container to pause and reset its timer. Remove it from storage when you are ready to use it.

Tips & Tricks

Store valuable items promptly. You can move items between your inventory slots without restarting their countdown.

Known Limitations

Some unusual modded containers may not be recognized as protected storage. The mod uses vanilla item sounds and does not add custom textures or models.

The mod adds no items, blocks, entities, textures, or models. Therefore no custom art is included; any displayed item uses its existing vanilla or other installed mod texture and model.
