Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Singulo-0.9.0-1.21.1N
For Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge, Java 21. JEI and Mekanism are optional. Forge support for Minecraft 1.21.1 ended with 0.8.1; Minecraft 1.20.1 remains supported on both Forge and NeoForge.
This release focuses on polishing existing content rather than adding new areas.
Backpack tiers
- Android backpacks now come in three tiers: Backpack (12 slots), Reinforced Backpack (18 slots, stage 3) and Large Backpack (24 slots, stage 4). Each tier is crafted from the one below.
- You can swap in a larger backpack without emptying the current one.
- Existing Backpack Upgrades now open 12 slots. Items already stored in later slots are kept and can still be taken out; androids don't use those slots for work.
Android work
- Androids now show why they are stuck: station out of power, destination unreachable, missing materials, protected block, nothing to work on in the area, or storage full. The reason appears in the android's status page, in the Work Console's order details, and as an icon over its head while you wear Survey Glasses.
- Fixed a guard staying stuck in its charging state after its station disappeared.
- Fixed androids that ran out of charge while crafting getting stuck switching off and on instead of going to recharge. They now pause the work, recharge and then continue.
- Idle guards within 24 blocks of their station now go back to top up whenever their charge is not full.
- Androids no longer drop items on the ground when their inventory fills up. Work plans now account for byproducts, leftover containers and items already carried while still using every free slot, and miners, lumberjacks and harvesters check that the drops will fit before breaking a block, going to put items away first when they would not. Partial stacks of the same item in an android's inventory are now merged, so leftovers no longer take up extra slots.
- The Android Workbench now has a 27-slot holding box. Crafted items that do not fit in the android's inventory go there instead of onto the ground; later steps and deliveries pick them up again. Right-click the workbench to take anything left behind; breaking it drops the contents.
- With a Shield Permit in an Android Assembly Station, its androids now treat anyone not on the permit (except players in Creative) as an enemy. They attack those players, and those players can hurt them. As before, only the owner and registered players can open the station and android screens.
- Androids now put away the weapons in their hands while crafting.
- Work Console improvements:
- Items currently being made have an orange frame in the Order tab, and their tooltip shows how many.
- A New toggle when ordering crafts the full amount without using finished items already in storage. For example, with 3 iron axes in storage, order 2 to get 2 more.
- A ↻ button on running orders orders the same item again.
- Orders waiting for materials show what is missing and how many.
- Orders placed from the screen send the orderer a chat message when they finish, when they have been stuck waiting for materials for a minute, or when they are cancelled.
- Put away skips storage that cannot accept the cargo and can deposit through a supply port into its adjacent storage.
- Mining and harvesting capacity checks also handle loot stacks larger than one inventory slot.
- The android Gear page has two new buttons: Sort tidies the inventory and backpack, and Put away sends the android to a nearby chest, barrel, shulker box or supply port to empty them.
- The Android Assembly Station's follow row tooltip now lists the players on the permit.
- Shift-click Recall in an Android Assembly Station to call back every android from the stations you can use within 64 blocks.
- Hovering over the return health setting shows the android's current health and charge, and the setting turns orange when health is below it.
- While an Android Workbench's holding box has items, one of them floats above the workbench.
- Redesigned the android Bouquet: clear wrapping with visible stems, a ribbon bow (dyeing now colors the ribbon) and a fuller arrangement of flowers, tilted forward so people in front can see it. The item icon matches.
- The Beret is slightly smaller and no longer lets hair poke through on its lower side.
- Fixed the glowing line at androids' left elbow flickering when the arm bends.
Balance
- Felling now costs charge based on the size of the tree (12 plus 2 per log) instead of a flat 24.
- Ruin Android Fabricators now drop a compact crystal memory half the time when all their androids are defeated, instead of every time. The fabricator still rests for a day either way. Boss drops are unchanged.
Handbook and tooltips
- Each stage chapter now starts with an overview: what to build in order, the key to the next stage and common sticking points.
- New android pages: a step-by-step first work order and a guide to fixing stuck androids.
- Long pages about bosses, upgrades and processing were split into shorter pages.
- The Progress chapter opens at your current stage and links to that stage's overview.
- More items show a short tooltip summary; hold Shift for full details.
- Hover over a Singulo item and press H (or press it while holding the item) to open the handbook page about it.
- The handbook has a search box above the chapter list. Item lookup keeps its selected page when resizing the window.
