Description
Simply Better Barrels adds new barrels for each wood type.
These barrels are slightly smaller than the vanilla counterpart, however they store the same amount.
Their crafting recipe is also cheaper, using 5 planks and 3 slabs.
Vanilla barrels haven't been removed either, and are still crafted using the default recipe.
There is also a liquid counterpart for the new barrels added, Tapped Barrels. These barrels are crafted using an iron nugget instead of the top slab, and can store three buckets each, making them a cheaper and more compact alternative to cauldrons.
This, however, does come at a cost. They cannot be used with bottles, only working with full buckets. Tapped barrels of overworld woods can store water, and those made of nether woods can store lava.
The barrels add some welcome new decorative and functional blocks, and are great in almost any build.
