Can you please make a 1.16 version?
Could you add a config to change the arrow damage, and maybe even let us disable them? Would be nice.
I like the mod otherwise (textures could use work, but that's obviously not as important as functionality)
Also, I would suggest making all the arrows have the same recipe design as the vanilla one; but using different materials for the head.
I have several suggestions for new types of arrows that could be visually interesting. Not arrows with special effects and properties (like most of existent arrows of this great and wonderful mod), but arrows with special movement and physics.
My suggestion for these special physics arrows are these:
- Antigravity (or antimass) arrows:
Arrows that fall up (to the sky) instead of down.
- Rectilinear arrows:
Arrows not altered by gravity. They move dozens of blocks in a straight line before disappearing in the air.
- Sinuidal arrows:
Arrows not altered by gravity. They move meandering (like a snake) or curved zig-zag several dozen blocks before disappearing in the air.
- Helicoidal arrows:
Arrows not altered by gravity. They move in helicoidal path, like spinning (a kind of spiral or helix), several dozen blocks before disappearing in the air.
- Guided arrows:
Arrows "with normal physics" (affected by gravity) that can change slightly their trajectory (curving or spinning), for reach mobs and enemies.
no config for this mod? Imagine if players could make their own arrow types using forge oredictionary I was thinking quartz arrows.

Arrows don't fire from dispensers? They're just being dispensed as items for me.
I have some bows from others mods that dont use the arrows, how Can I add the arrow to those bows?

The arrows should work out of the box with modded bows. They've been tested with bows from several mods such as the twilight forest.

I have an idea for a few arrows
Seeker Arrow
Base damage: 2
Weakly guided to the nearest hostile mob. Still affected by gravity and prioritizes targets in its path.
Crafted same as flint arrow but using popped Chorus fruit instead of flint.
Shrapnel arrow
Base damage: N/a
Creates a small, terrain friendly explosion, sending out 8 normal arrows out diagonally upwards in a ring that have base damage of 2.
Crafted same as flint arrow but using pufferfish instead of flint.
Ricochet arrow
Base damage: 2
Upon hitting a block, it makes an small, terrain friendly explosion that bounces the arrow in a new direction, bouncing 3 times maximum.
Crafted same as flint arrow but with slimeball instead of flint.
Meteor arrow
Base damage: N/a
Upon hitting a block or entity, summons 3 ghast fireballs to bombard the location hit.
Crafted same as flint arrow but with Nether Star instead of flint.

Three small explosions weaker than TNT seems like a mid game weapon, not really powerful enough to justify killing a boss every time you want one. I would suggest something more like a craft an arrow but the top center and the center left and right slots are are fire charges. Requiring blazes seems right. That or using ghast tears in a normal arrow pattern.
There was an arrow from a mod called "Elemental Arrows", which was last seen in 2013 or 2014, called the "Chicken arrow".
On impact with a block, it spawned a chicken. On impact with a mob, it turned the mob into a chicken.
What is the recipe for the arrows?
