# Simple Pleasures Progression 1.12.4
Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge 21.1.200 or later · Java 21 · client and server
Changes since 1.11.0.
## Villagers
- Villagers with a request for you show a golden marker above their head; the marker changes when you carry everything they asked for.
- The first requests appear within about a minute near working villagers. At most a quarter of the nearby workers have a request at once, and each villager waits 3–5 days after a request ends.
- Worlds made with MCA Reborn keep their villagers: without MCA installed, MCA villagers load as normal villagers with their profession, trades, reputation and name kept. MCA's own looks, traits and family data are dropped.
- 44 new dialogue lines.
## Thief integration
- Crimes post a chat and action-bar message saying whether they were witnessed, went unnoticed, or were overlooked.
- A refused trade now explains why: your reputation with that villager, the level needed to trade, and how to win them back.
- Iron golems no longer attack players for bad reputation alone. They still defend the village from a player who hit a villager, a golem or another player in the last 30 seconds. Crimes now only affect trading and friendship.
## Inventory and containers
- Quark's Insert and Extract buttons match items including their components. Shift-click moves every matching item. Shift-insert includes the hotbar and unlocked extra slots; shift-extract can fill unlocked extra slots. Items that don't fit stay in the source container.
## Skills and quests
- Fishing XP comes from item data: 30 XP for ordinary fish and crates, 160 for legendary Tide fish, awarded on a real catch with both Stardew Fishing and vanilla fishing.
- Fine Tuning needs a finished rod in the Angling Table; owning parts or previewing the result no longer counts.
- Forager's Bounty drops mushrooms, more seed types and plantable corn instead of sticks and enchanted golden apples.
- New quest "Ring Possibilities": reach level 3 in all five skills for a Small Magnet Ring.
- The five villager tutorial quests use the built-in friendship, gifts, requests and Thief instead of MCA.
## Client
- `[hud] bountyTrackerOffset` in `simplepleasures-client.toml` (default 6) moves Village Bounties' tracker below the season display.
## Project MMO
- Project MMO's optional "default", "easy" and "hardcore" world data packs are no longer offered. They use skills this pack doesn't have (woodcutting, building, endurance), so they blocked placing saplings and some workstations. Worlds that had one turned on drop it the next time they load.
## Compatibility
- Quest IDs and completed progress are preserved. A previously completed Angling Table quest is not reset or rewarded twice.
