SimpleMimics Usage Licence

This licence applies to SimpleMimics and all official distributions created by
AkaneDev.

Permission is granted to use, modify, and create forks of SimpleMimics under
the conditions listed below.

Usage Permissions

You may use SimpleMimics for:

- Personal use
- Modpacks
- Videos
- Streams
- VODs
- Server usage
- Educational purposes

Credit Requirements

All public uses of SimpleMimics must provide credit to AkaneDev.

Credit may be provided in any reasonable way, including but not limited to:

- Linking the official SimpleMimics project page
- Mentioning "SimpleMimics by AkaneDev"
- Listing AkaneDev as the original creator
- Including attribution in documentation or descriptions

Videos

For uploaded videos, credit to AkaneDev is required.

Acceptable credit includes:

- A pinned comment
- A mention in the video description
- A link to the official SimpleMimics project page
- Mentioning the mod name and author

Streams

For livestreams, credit to AkaneDev is required.

Acceptable credit includes:

- Mentioning the mod during the stream
- Including SimpleMimics and AkaneDev in the stream description
- Linking the official project page
- Using a chat command or other attribution method

VODs

VODs created from livestreams are treated separately.

Additional credit is appreciated but not required if the original livestream
already provided credit.

Modpacks

SimpleMimics may be included in modpacks.

Modpacks must provide attribution by:

- Listing SimpleMimics in the mod list
- Listing AkaneDev as the author
- Linking to the official project page where possible

Forks and Modifications

You are allowed to create forks and modified versions of SimpleMimics.

Forks must:

- Credit AkaneDev as the original creator
- Include a link to the original SimpleMimics project
- Clearly state that the project is a fork or modification
- Describe the changes made from the original project

Forks may be used for:

- Personal modifications
- Compatibility changes
- Bug fixes
- Experimental features
- Community improvements
- Learning and educational purposes

Competing Projects

You may not create or distribute a fork that:

- Attempts to replace the official SimpleMimics project
- Uses the SimpleMimics name or branding without permission
- Misleads users into believing it is the official project
- Is presented as the primary or official continuation of SimpleMimics
- Removes attribution to AkaneDev

The official SimpleMimics project remains controlled and maintained by
AkaneDev.

Redistribution

You may redistribute modified versions of SimpleMimics only if:

- Proper credit is provided
- The project is clearly identified as modified/forked
- It does not compete with or impersonate the official SimpleMimics project

You may not:

- Reupload unchanged copies of SimpleMimics
- Remove copyright notices
- Claim ownership of SimpleMimics
- Redistribute SimpleMimics without attribution

Source Code

The source code is publicly available for transparency, learning, and
community development.

Viewing, studying, and modifying the source code is permitted under this
licence.

Use of the source code in unrelated projects requires permission unless the
project is a clearly credited fork or modification of SimpleMimics.

Assets

Assets created specifically for SimpleMimics remain protected under this
licence.

Using SimpleMimics assets outside of SimpleMimics or approved forks requires
permission from AkaneDev.

Warranty Disclaimer

This software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or
implied.

In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim,
damages, or other liability arising from the use of this software.
