SmartVein

Simple VeinMiner is a lightweight, easy-to-use Fabric & Forge mod that allows you to mine entire veins of ores by breaking just a single block. It is designed to be balanced, efficient, and fully customizable right from within the game.

✨ Features

• Smart Vein Mining: Break one ore block, and all connected ores of the same type (up to 64 blocks) will break automatically.
• Balanced Gameplay: The mod correctly applies damage to your pickaxe for every single block broken in the chain. If your tool is about to break, the chain reaction will safely stop to prevent accidental tool loss.
• Toggleable Modes: Press V (default keybind) to quickly cycle between three activation modes:
  • Sneak Only (Default): Vein mining only activates when you are crouching.
  • Always Active: Vein mining is always on.
  • Disabled: Temporarily turns off the mod.
• Modded Ores Support: The mod automatically detects standard ores. If you play with other mods, you can add their custom ores on the fly using in-game commands!

💻 Commands

(Requires OP/Cheat permissions)

• /veinminer add <block_id> : Adds a new block to the allowed vein miner list (e.g., /veinminer add create:zinc_ore).
• /veinminer remove <block_id> : Removes a block from the list.
• /veinminer mode <always|sneak|disabled> : Alternative way to change the activation mode.
