Simple Flight Rings

Wear a ring and fly like in Creative mode.

Required: NeoForge + Curios API (the mod adds its own "Flight Ring" curio slot).

Getting a ring

• Craft one: wood → stone → iron → gold → diamond → netherite. Each tier flies longer; upgrading keeps enchantments, name and lore.
• Find a relic: eight relic rings have no recipe — only their damaged form spawns in structures (the emerald one is sold by a librarian). Repair it in a crafting grid with its theme material.
• Make it last forever: forge any ring with an Indestructible Core.

Flying

1. Right-click the ring to equip it into the Flight Ring slot (or drag it in from the Curios menu).
2. Flying drains 1 durability per second — nothing drains while you walk.

The HUD shows the remaining flight time and the ring's energy, bottom-left by default; both can be moved in config/simpleflightring-client.toml or from the mod list's Config screen.

Abilities

Each relic ring has its own ability. Active abilities fire with V — rebindable — and only work while the ring is worn.

Rarity & reforging

Rings found in broken-dimension chests carry a random affix: 13 affixes × 5 rarities. The affix shows in the ring's name, coloured by rarity, and scales with it.

• Reforge in an anvil: ring + Reforge Stone (10 levels) → new affix and rarity.
• Directed Reforge Stone: rerolls only the affix, or only the rarity, keeping the other half.

Optional

• Sophisticated Backpacks — rings stored inside a backpack also work.
• Allthemodium — three linked endgame rings, only registered when Allthemodium is installed.

Commands

Admin/debug only: /sfr reforge …, /sfr durability …, /sfr locate.
