Simple Bikes
Just a small mod that adds 3 kinds of bike, and the recipes and items to craft them.
Each bike is cheap to craft and not very powerful, making them an ideal early-game transport option if you can't find a horse. Each bike also has their own special charge-up ability, inspired the bikes from Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald.
What kind of bikes are there?
There are 3 kinds of bikes:
Basic Bike
Crafted from 4 metal bars, 2 bike wheels, a chain, and a block of wool. The red Basic Bike is the all-rounder, with a charge jump as its ability. An uncharged jump can hop a fence, and a charged jump can _just_ clear a 3-block wall.
AcroBike
Make an Acro Upgrade Kit and craft it together with a Basic Bike. The blue AcroBike will constantly bunnyhop while the ability key is pressed while also charging a secondary jump which can be activated even in mid-air. The AcroBike is also tougher and more resistant to fall damage.
MachBike
Make a Mach Upgrade Kit and craft it together with a Basic Bike. The green MachBike has a higher base speed than the other bikes, and charging the ability will increase that speed even further. However, the MachBike is more fragile than the others, and cannot charge its jump.
What else is included?
Trying to keep the mod as minimal as possible, it only includes the few crafting items:
- Bike Wheel: Iron Bars + Wool Block - crafts 2
- Mach Upgrade Kit: Bike Wheel + Gold Ingot + Redstone Dust
- Acro Upgrade Kit: Bike Wheel + Copper Ingot + Lapis Lazuli
The mod also includes a Socket Wrench, which can be used to repair your bike by Sneak+Using it on your bike. This tool is entirely optional - anything correctly tagged as a wrench will work. Likewise the Socket Wrench should work for most wrench-related tasks.

Why make this mod?
I couldn't find a simple bicycle mod. The only closest one I could find was a Cobblemon addon.

I know, I know, but I'm no programmer. It is however a very minimalistic mod and I've tried to be as careful as possible with the functions, so there should be very little performance impact.

Why?
I'm lazy. Also, not very good at modding, and the exporters for other versions of Minecraft don't exist, haven't been updated, or break things.
Why are the bikes locked to one color?
I couldn't think of a way to do it without either making a unique entity for each color, using an overkill plugin, or learning to code from scratch.
Can I use this mod in my modpack/server?
Of course, that's why I'm posting it!

Is this mod compatible with…
There should be very few incompatibilities, but as there's no modification to world gen, loot tables, or spawning, there shouldn't be any problems.
