Description
Silent Fly Speed
Change your creative flying speed with Ctrl + mouse wheel. Nothing appears on screen and your hotbar stays where it is, so it's ideal for recording videos, cinematic shots and big builds.
How to use
- Hold Ctrl and scroll up to fly faster.
- Hold Ctrl and scroll down to fly slower.
- Scrolling without Ctrl works normally and changes your hotbar slot.
There are 12 speed steps: x1, x1.5, x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x8, x10, x13, x16, x20 (x1 is the normal vanilla speed). Scroll all the way down to get back to normal speed.
Features
- No HUD text, no chat messages, no sounds. Your recordings stay clean.
- The hotbar doesn't move while you're holding Ctrl.
- Your speed is kept after respawning or changing dimensions.
- Doesn't touch your speed until you use it, so it won't fight with other mods.
- No keybinds or menus to set up.
- Client-side only: servers don't need it.
Good to know
- It works for creative flying, and for flying in survival if another mod lets you fly.
- Multiplayer: it works on servers too, but very high speeds can get you pulled back by the server's anti-cheat or "moved too quickly" checks. In singleplayer it's fully reliable.
- Ctrl is also the default sprint key, so you'll fly-sprint while scrolling. That's normal.
