Signal Drop

Signal Drop is a server notification system mod for Minecraft servers.

Server administrators can send animated on-screen notifications directly to players using multiple notification types, colors, and sounds.

Signal Drop also provides a dedicated server restart interface that displays the estimated restart time and restart reason. When the server becomes available again, Signal Drop automatically detects the recovery and clears the restarting status.

Commands

/signaldrop test

Sends a test notification to the player executing the command.

/signaldrop send all <type> <message>

Sends a notification to all online players.

Example:
/signaldrop send all info The server event is starting!

/signaldrop send player <player> <type> <message>

Sends a notification to a specific player.

Example:
/signaldrop send player Steve warning Please check your inventory

/signaldrop shutdown <HH:mm> <reason>

Sends server restart information to connected players.

Example:
/signaldrop shutdown 23:30 Restarting for maintenance

Important

The /signaldrop shutdown command does NOT stop or restart the Minecraft server itself.

Actual server shutdown and startup must be handled through your server console, server management software, scripts, hosting service, or another external system.

Permissions

Signal Drop administration commands are available to:

• Operators with permission level 2 or higher
• Server console

Normal players cannot use Signal Drop administration commands.

Client Settings

Press F8 by default to open the Signal Drop settings screen.

Available settings:

• Notification Sound ON / OFF
• Notification Volume 0–100%

The key binding can be changed from Minecraft's Controls menu.

Server Restart System

When restart information has been sent and the server disconnects, Signal Drop displays a dedicated SERVER RESTART interface.

The interface displays:

• Estimated restart time
• Restart reason

After closing the restart panel, a restarting status remains visible on the multiplayer screen.

Signal Drop uses Minecraft's server status system to detect when the server becomes available again and automatically clears the restarting status.

Installation

Install Signal Drop in the mods folder on both the Minecraft server and participating clients.

Signal Drop uses custom network communication between the server and client, so the mod is required on both sides.

Signal Dropとは？

Signal Dropは、Minecraftサーバーの管理者からプレイヤーへ、画面上にアニメーション付き通知を送信できるMODです。

通常の通知だけでなく、サーバー再起動時には専用画面を表示し、再起動予定時刻や理由をプレイヤーへ案内できます。

コマンド

/signaldrop test

実行したプレイヤーへテスト通知を送信します。

/signaldrop send all <type> <message>

オンラインの全プレイヤーへ通知を送信します。

例：
/signaldrop send all info サーバーイベントを開始します！

/signaldrop send player <player> <type> <message>

指定したプレイヤーへ通知を送信します。

例：
/signaldrop send player Steve warning インベントリを確認してください

/signaldrop shutdown <HH:mm> <reason>

接続中のプレイヤーへサーバー再起動情報を送信します。

例：
/signaldrop shutdown 23:30 メンテナンスのため再起動します

重要

/signaldrop shutdown コマンドは、Minecraftサーバー自体を停止・再起動するコマンドではありません。

実際の停止・起動は、サーバーコンソール、サーバー管理ソフト、スクリプト、ホスティングサービスなどから行ってください。

権限

Signal Dropの管理コマンドは以下から使用できます。

• OP権限レベル2以上
• サーバーコンソール

一般プレイヤーは管理コマンドを使用できません。

クライアント設定

デフォルトではF8キーでSignal Dropの設定画面を開けます。

設定できる項目：

• 通知音 ON / OFF
• 通知音量 0～100%

キー設定はMinecraftのキー設定画面から変更できます。

サーバー再起動機能

再起動情報を受信した状態でサーバーから切断されると、専用のSERVER RESTART画面が表示されます。

画面には以下の情報が表示されます。

• 再起動予定時刻
• 再起動理由

再起動画面を閉じた後も、マルチプレイ画面に再起動中ステータスが表示されます。

サーバーが再び利用可能になると、Minecraftのサーバーステータス機能を利用して復旧を検知し、再起動中表示を自動的に解除します。

導入方法

Signal DropをMinecraftサーバーと参加するクライアントの両方のmodsフォルダへ導入してください。

Signal Dropはサーバーとクライアント間で専用の通信を行うため、両方への導入が必要です。
