Curse Maven Snippet
A long-awaited update focused on making the aliens more dangerous, as well as fixing some bugs!
- Containment units now spawn incubation fluid when mined
- Incubation fluid now applies the 'hosting' effect to players and animals in contact with it
- 'Complex' and 'Egg room' structures are now rarer
- Fixed bug where 'Complex' structure generated at the surface
- 'Well' structure removed (maybe re-added later)
- 'EggRoom' structure now spawns at a higher y-level
- All 'ship' blocks renamed to 'alien' blocks
- Added new item 'Alien Scrap' used to craft alien blocks
- Alien blocks now drop Alien Scrap instead of the block
- 'Heavy Ship Block Panel' and 'Ship Pillar Panel' now rotate facing the player, and can face up or down
- Significantly increased health of all aliens
- Quadromorphs now prioritise attacking players and other entities that attack them first
- Fixed bug of Quadromprophs not growing into an Onyxomorph after 10 minutes
- Onyxomorphs now prioritise attacking players and other entities that attack them first
- Onyxomorphs now prioritise all other behaviors over breaking torches
- Onyxomorphs now drop 16 Alien Scrap
- Onyxomorphs now always lay eggs when killing an entity without the hosting effect
- Onyxomorphs are now immune to explosions
- Onyxomorphs now have different sounds (Custom sounds planned for a later update)
- Increased tracking range of Onyxomorphs
- Infectors no longer target 'monster' type entities
- 'Monster' type entities can no longer be infected
- Removed 'Alien egg' spawn egg
- Changed layout of alien spawn eggs and blocks in creative tabs
- If an infected entity is killed, a protomorph will spawn
