Shrapnel Shard

Shrapnel Shard is a survival-focused companion mod for the Satsu Iron Man Addon, bringing the darker side of the Arc Reactor to Minecraft.

Just like Tony Stark, surviving the shrapnel is only the beginning. Build an Arc Reactor, manage its Palladium Core, monitor your poisoning, and research new Iron Man armor projects through the Stark Bench.

⚡ The Origin

Surviving a nearby TNT explosion grants you an Arc Reactor.

The reactor is only granted after you survive the explosion, and each player can receive this reward only once.

☢️ Palladium Poisoning

Wearing an Arc Reactor slowly exposes your body to palladium.

• Poisoning is permanently saved to your player.
• Removing the Arc Reactor does not cure you.
• Technology armor increases your exposure.
• Higher poisoning levels cause nausea, weakness, and poison effects.
• An expired reactor core dramatically increases the poisoning rate.
• Tier 2 reactors produce less poisoning.
• Reaching Reactor Tier 3 gradually removes poisoning completely.

🔋 Replaceable Palladium Cores

Arc Reactors now require replaceable Palladium Cores.

• Each core lasts for three Minecraft days.
• Core lifetime only decreases while the Arc Reactor is equipped.
• Expired cores become dangerous and increase palladium exposure.
• Craft a Replacement Palladium Core and install it using the Stark Bench.
• Replacing the core restores its full runtime and reduces poisoning by 15%.

🖥️ Stark Bench

The Stark Bench is the center of your Iron Man progression.

Use it to:

• Research Iron Man armor projects.
• Unlock suits in progression order.
• Spend XP levels on research.
• Build researched armor using collected materials.
• Replace an expired Palladium Core.
• Access dozens of Satsu Iron Man armor projects.

Starting from Mark 2, research requires Satsu's Blueprint Holder.

🧪 Treatments

Lithium Dioxide

A powerful treatment that removes 25% palladium poisoning.

When used with an advanced Tier 3 reactor, it can completely clear the remaining poisoning.

Chlorophyll Drink

A weaker but more accessible treatment that removes 5% poisoning.

Be careful—drinking too many doses can cause a dangerous overdose.

Palladium Poisoning Control Device

Right-click the device to view:

• Your current poisoning level
• Reactor tier
• Remaining Palladium Core runtime

🤖 JARVIS

JARVIS is currently disabled while the system is being polished.

The underlying system is still under development and is planned to return in a future update.

📦 Requirements

• Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1
• Forge
• Satsu Iron Man Addon 3.2.0 or newer
• Palladium 4.5.5 or newer
• Curios API
• GeckoLib

Make sure all dependencies required by the Satsu Iron Man Addon are also installed.

📁 Installation

1. Install Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1.
2. Install Shrapnel Shard and all required dependencies.
3. Place the downloaded files inside your mods folder.
4. Launch the game and survive the shrapnel.
