Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
0.3.0-beta
A big update: machine rooms, a break room for your maids, weekly market prices, coffee, pierogi, billboards and a paint roller.
Shops
- Shops are closed rooms: a shop only opens when its shelves are in a closed room (walls, roof and doors). Shelves outside don't count, and beauty is measured inside. Storefront windows, glass panes and iron bars count as walls.
- Shop name: set it on the Point of Sale (the tag button next to the title).
- Opening hours: a new Hours tab to open or close the shop and set its hours (7:00 to 17:00 by default). At closing time customers pay for what they took. A 24/7 button keeps it open day and night; more hours bring more visitors (fewer at night).
- Front door: customers walk in through the shop's entrance doors, and visitors turn up in front of one.
- Weekly market prices: every product's price moves up to 30% up or down each week. More than 25% over the market and nobody buys it; 15% or more under and customers take more.
- Price Labeller: right-click a shelf row to set your shop's price for that product. Shelves show price tags.
- Emerald Nuggets: 9 to an emerald. Prices are whole nuggets; checkouts pay out emeralds and nuggets.
- Statistics tab: today's customers, satisfaction, items sold and income, the last week, and best sellers.
- Fairer customers: they rate a visit by how much of their list they found (85% or more costs no reputation), never ask for more than the shelves hold, nor more than 60% of a product's stock.
- Two shops can't overlap.
- Temperature is now part of beauty: an air conditioner cools the shop for comfort.
- Customers and maids reach shelves up to the third block above the floor.
- Entrance Chime: rings when a customer comes in.
Machine room and power
- Generator, Fuel Tank (coal or lava, pipes too), Fuse Box and Exhaust Fans: a closed room with a fuse box powers every machine in the shop. Blocks join into bigger generators and tanks. The generator has a screen with fuel, power and heat bars and an on/off switch. Too few fans and the room heats up; overload cuts the power until you restart it.
- Solar Panels (20 FE/t in full sun, anywhere in the shop's area) and Batteries (1,000,000 FE, in the machine room).
Break room and maids (Touhou Little Maid)
- Break room: a closed room with a Time Clock. Maids punch in and out, change at their own Locker, eat from it or the Staff Fridge (warmed in the Microwave), have a coffee at the Coffee Machine and sit on Chairs. Also Tables, a Staff Only Door customers never use, and a Whiteboard to see and swap jobs.
- Job satisfaction (0 to 100): maids need a break every few hours; below 20 they strike until they are back to 40.
- Wages: each maid earns 2 emeralds a shift (configurable) from the checkouts.
- Pallets (256 items of anything) and the Stocker job, which carries them to the storage boxes. Storage boxes now hold 64 of anything, even unstackable items.
- Trash Can: restockers throw rotten goods away in it.
- Shop maids work anywhere in their shop, even outside their home radius.
Food and drinks
- Pierogi: onions, cabbages, sauerkraut and four kinds of pierogi, fried into meals.
- Coffee: coffee bushes (two blocks tall) grow from green coffee beans; the Coffee Roaster (FE) roasts them. The roaster is an industrial machine, 2 blocks wide and 2 tall, with its own sound.
- Customers' Coffee Machine: its screen takes roasted coffee, cocoa, paper cups and milk buckets, and it makes Coffee, Coffee with Milk and Coffee with Chocolate, each with its own price. Restockers bring the ingredients and take the empty buckets back.
- Paper Cups (3 paper in a V): both coffee machines use one per cup.
- Wild crops: wild onions on plains, wild cabbages on beaches (without Farmer's Delight) and wild coffee in jungles. Grass no longer drops seeds.
Decoration
- Paint Roller: paints up to four coloured stripes across any plain full block, which keeps its own texture. Pick any colour (dyes, hex code or RGB bars), copy stripes with sneak + right-click, and clean them off with a roller without stripes.
- Billboards (1×1, 2×1, 1×2 and 2×2, five designs): hang them like paintings and put an item on them. Customers are more likely to buy it (×1.5 to ×2). They count as decoration.
- New storefront windows and konbini door: very clear glass, no seams between windows, a thin black strip only on the outer edge.
Guide book
- Shopkeeper's Handbook (needs Patchouli): an in-game guide to everything in the mod, in English and Spanish.
Changes and removals
- The Konbini Fascia is gone: paint the stripes with the Paint Roller instead. Fascia blocks already placed turn into plain painted blocks; fascia items disappear.
- Coffee roasters already placed must be broken and placed again (the machine now takes 2×2).
- Customers' coffee machines keep their coffee and cups: they move into the new slots.
- The break room's coffee machine uses roasted coffee and paper cups.
- New sounds for the microwave and the roaster.
