This mod was created and designed for a pre-built world and is NOT Survival friendly. The map can be found Here
This mod adds several new blocks, mobs, bosses, tools and armor, and more.
- New Blocks
- Artibane: a gravel like material that can be baked into bricks then used to make tools and armor
- Artibane is a magic nullifying material that can scrape enchants off opponents armor
- Mechanical Workbench and Parts
- Some enemies drop metal nuggets which can be crafted into metal ingots and used to craft mechanical parts.
- Part are designed to replace enchantments on artibane tools and armor, as they cannot support enchants normally
- Imported and Vein Wood
- Both wood variants come with planks, stairs, slabs, and fences
- Mintstone - a cool building block
- Pipes and Steam Nozzles (these blocks are used in the puzzle block dungeons in the map, and require creative mode to set up)
- Pipes - used to carry molten metal from MMtank to door opener
- Copper Pipe - can be mined with a wrench
- Netherite Pipe - Unbreakable
- Both pipes come in straight, left and right varients
- Toggle Pipes - Can only function if the toggle blocks match their color
- Steam Nozzles - linked to other steam nozzles, they output steam based on pressure. Steam can be used to power turbines, which can open doors.
- Normal Nozzles - can be right-clicked to open or close
- Toggle Nozzles - are open or closed based on the state of the toggle block
- Toggle Blocks
- On/Off Blocks can be swapped solid or non solid
- Toggle Switch - changes the global variable for the toggle blocks
- Heartstone and variants - A basic building block set
- Cracked Ice and Cracked Blackstone - These blocks break shortly after stepped on and reform after a short delay
- Thermal Generators (normal and soul) - they emit light (that’s about it). The map uses them to check if a level has been cleared once exiting
- Redstone Snow Ore: It drops redstone dust, which is needed in some crafting recipes
- Artibane: a gravel like material that can be baked into bricks then used to make tools and armor
- New mobs
- The Dark Order - a group of subtypes of enemies that come in 3 tiers (basic, advanced, and elite). All Dark Order mobs drop metal nuggets and wield enchanted armor and weapons based on tier
- Soldiers - a standard enemy
- Tanks - more hp and damage, but slower moving
- The Smelter - a ruthless conqueror that wields an army of vessels
- Mud Monsters - Fast moving mobs that require cooling in order to damage them
- Flame Vessels - a standard enemy with fire aspect attacks
- Tower Golems (boss) - A monstrous vessel that can spawn smaller vessels once damaged. It comes in two types (ice and fire)
- The Smelter - The final boss of the mod. Phase 1 fights as normal, then phase 2 requires the smelter to be cooled in order to damage
- The Dark Order - a group of subtypes of enemies that come in 3 tiers (basic, advanced, and elite). All Dark Order mobs drop metal nuggets and wield enchanted armor and weapons based on tier
- New Items
- Icicle - A magic pendant that can extinguish you. It also holds the power to unleash the Blizzards Blast, a powerful aoe effect that can cool, slow and damage mobs
- Ability Crystals - Blizzards Blast requires these in order to use, can be minded from a custom ore
- QP - Questionable Potion, "teleports" you back to your spawnpoint (better have keep inventory on lol)
- Mechanical Upgrade - Allows you to upgrade your mechanical workbench, allowing you to craft better mechanical parts
- Recipe Pages - Unlock new mechanical parts to craft
- Berry Bushes - Can be right-clicked to harvest (even in adventure mode)
- Water Berries - Used to regenerate health. They can also be crafted into clusters and clumps for better healing
- Furry Berries - Used to gain strength effect for a short time
- Icicle - A magic pendant that can extinguish you. It also holds the power to unleash the Blizzards Blast, a powerful aoe effect that can cool, slow and damage mobs
There is more that the mod adds, but I don’t really think it's too important to list. It’s also important to mention that none of these items, blocks or mobs spawn naturally in survival, nor do most items and blocks have crafting recipes. The reason for this design is, as mentioned above, this mod was designed for a pre-built world! As such, I didn’t put in the extra work to add them into survival, nor do I plan to change this. I am open to the idea in the future, but now is not the time for it.
If you would like to include this mod in a modpack or use it for creating your own worlds, go for it. If you have any technical questions on how to set things up (like how the steam system works), I am open to answer questions when I can in the comments.
