With this mod you can make some vanilla blocks (terracotta, stained glass, concrete, concrete powder, wool) emit light!

Update 1.2.0 - Shiny controller
Now if you use the shiny stick when you are sneaking you can change the light value from 0 to 15, but every block has a default value.
