Shelve 🔮

A 1.20.1 Forge port of Shelve (MIT).

Shelve adds useful blocks and items for redstone builds, farms, and everyday survival. Start fires with redstone, harvest crops automatically, make cheese, or even grow creepers.

Blocks & Items 📕

Igniter

Sets fire in front when powered by redstone. It can also light campfires.

Channeler

Summons lightning and requires a lightning rod directly above it to work.

Facing the same direction as the channeler, place a redstone block on its left and glowstone on its right to charge it. Once fully charged, remove both blocks to summon lightning at the rod.

Harvester

Harvests mature crops directly in front when powered by redstone. Place crops at the same height as the harvester, in front of its working face, to use it in an automatic farm.

Trash Can

Disposes of unwanted items. Right-click to insert items, or feed them in with a hopper.

Keeps one stack as a buffer. Inserting new items replaces the previous contents; right-click with an empty hand to retrieve the latest stack.

Crystal Ball

Provides enchanting power equivalent to five bookshelves, allowing for more compact enchanting setups.

Cheese

Pour milk into a cauldron, add sugar, and wait a while. Right-click when it is ready to collect the cheese.

Creeper Crop (Creepshroom)

Ever wanted to grow creepers? Kill a creeper on mycelium, and it may leave behind a crop as its offspring.

The crop grows on mycelium and can be harvested at different stages:

Right-click a nearly mature crop to collect gunpowder.

Right-click a fully mature crop to collect creeper buds for planting more crops.

Fully mature crops may spawn creepers. Harvest them promptly, or your farm may acquire some dangerous visitors.

Wooden Plank Bridge

Hold a wooden plank bridge and right-click an existing bridge to extend it in the direction you face.

Craft three bridges using seven sticks: three across the top row, one in the center, and three across the bottom row.

Turf

Restores dirt and its variants, including podzol, mycelium, dirt paths, and farmland, to grass blocks.

Can also be used in a composter, with a 10% chance of increasing its compost level.

Copper Bars

Powered by a bar charger to shock creatures on contact. Creepers that touch powered bars become charged creepers.

Egg Carton

Stores up to six eggs. Place it on a magma block to hatch chicks.

Tuning Fork

Right-click a note block to copy or paste its note. Right-click in the air to switch between copying and pasting modes.

Chimneys

Emit smoke when placed above a lit furnace or campfire. Right-click to change their shape.
