Shamanic Mounts 0.1.8 - Breaking a Bronco

Wild adults fight, a golden apple buys you two quiet minutes, and the saddle is a bronco ride.

• Wild adults hunt. An untamed adult that is not a foal, and not calmed, comes after a player within 16 blocks and hits for the same 3 damage as before. Creative and spectator are left alone. A calmed mount stays passive even if you punch it.
• A golden apple, then the saddle. Feed a wild adult a vanilla golden apple and it stops for 2 minutes. Only then does a Shamanic Saddle go on, and only then can you mount. Right-click to sit. Sneak does not mount. A vanilla saddle does not fit. The diamond apple is still the breed item.
• Thirty seconds of reins. An arrow and a word ask for left, right, forward, or back. Press that key any time in the two seconds, with the movement keys or the arrows. The mount bucks the opposite way. Fifteen prompts. Four misses are allowed. Getting off, or a fifth miss, fails the try, puts you off, and gives the saddle back. A hit does not fail it. After a fail that mount refuses another try for 10 seconds.
• It does not buck you into a tree. The kick is the same in the open. Against a tree, a wall, or a low ceiling it bucks in place, and suffocation during the trial does not land.
• Eightfold's mane runs along the crest of the neck.
