Shadowed's No More Lazy Chunk Loader is a heavy-duty server-side performance mod for Minecraft 1.20.1. It completely eliminates the infamous chunk loading lag and micro-stutters when exploring the world by emulating modern internal loading efficiency.

Whether you are flying at maximum speed with an Elytra or exploring new terrain, the server will intelligently manage CPU threads, pausing heavy tasks like natural spawning and focusing entirely on delivering chunks to the player smoothly.

In Vanilla Minecraft, loading chunk data from the disk is done on a single thread, causing severe stutters when flying. This mod dispatches chunk NBT parsing and decompression to a dynamic thread pool. This allows multiple chunks to be read from the disk and decompressed simultaneously without stopping the main game thread!

When the server detects that the CPU is taking too long to process a tick (for example, when a player is generating chunks very quickly while flying), it will automatically pause Natural Mob Spawning and Random Block Ticks (crop growth, grass spreading) for that exact tick.

This frees up to 40% of the CPU instantaneously, dedicating 100% of the mathematical power to generating the terrain in front of you. Once you land, the simulation returns to normal instantly. (Note: Global throttling only applies to Singleplayer/Integrated servers to maintain Multiplayer fairness).

Servers suffer heavily from ticking hundreds of entities in loaded chunks that players aren't even looking at. This mod intelligently reduces the ticking frequency of entities and block entities (like furnaces) that are far away from any player. This saves massive amounts of CPU on distant farms without breaking them.

The mod automatically reads your CPU's available threads upon startup. If you have a lower-end CPU (4 threads or less), it will automatically adjust chunk saving limits and thread allocation to prevent your disk and CPU from bottlenecking, guaranteeing the best possible experience for your specific hardware.
