Shadow Ore

Overview

Shadow Ore is a dark-themed mod that adds mysterious metallic items forged from obsidian and iron. The centerpiece is the Shadow Sword, a weapon that grows stronger when wielded in darkness.

Features

• Shadow Ingot - A rare metallic ingot with a dark purple appearance. Found in your inventory with a subtle tooltip.
• Shadow Sword - A powerful weapon crafted from 2 Shadow Ingots and a stick. Deals slightly more damage than an Iron Sword and has a unique bonus: it deals +30% extra damage when the wielder is in darkness (light level below 7).

How to Use

1. Craft Shadow Ingots: Place 9 obsidian in a crafting grid (3x3) with 1 iron ingot in the center. This yields 2 Shadow Ingots.

2. Craft Shadow Sword: Place 2 Shadow Ingots vertically with 1 stick below them in a crafting grid.

3. Equip and Fight: When holding the Shadow Sword, watch your damage output increase in darker areas!

Tips & Tricks

• The Shadow Sword is most effective when sneaking up on mobs in dark caves or at night.
• Combine with Night Vision potions for maximum effectiveness.
• The darkness bonus does not stack, so one hit at a time.

Known Limitations

• The sword cannot be repaired with the Shadow Ingot (for balance reasons).
• The darkness bonus is based on the light level at your position, not the target's.
