Server Utils is a lightweight, server-side Minecraft Forge mod for 1.7.10 that adds a handful of quality-of-life utilities for server administration: custom join/leave messages, dimension-change logging, and a couple of admin/utility commands.

Server Utils is a lightweight server-side utility mod for Minecraft 1.7.10, designed to add simple quality-of-life features for server owners and players.

Features

  • Custom Join & Leave Messages — Cleaner and more visual server messages when players join or leave.
  • Welcome Messages — Personalized welcome messages for players, with a special message for server operators.
  • Dimension Change Logging — Easily keep track of players changing dimensions.
  • /greet — Send a friendly greeting to a player or everyone online.
  • /getlocation — Check a player's location, UUID and current dimension.

Installation

  1. Install Minecraft Forge 1.7.10.
  2. Download the mod and place the .jar in your server's mods folder.
  3. Start your server.

Server-side only: players do not need to install the mod on their clients.

Configuration

Server Utils automatically creates its configuration in:

config/serverutils/serverutils.cfg

You can enable or disable dimension-change logging from there.

  • Forge 10.13.4.1614 or newer
