This mod allows players on a server or singleplayer to have one or multiple NPC companions capable of defending you, creating armor, weapons and shields (supply the materials to them such as iron ingots and planks etc.) They are also capable of elytra flight when provided the elytra and rockets, and will follow you as you fly.
Currently you can choose from:
Alex, Steve or Ashley but more will be added in the future.
NPC features include CLIENT side chosen skins ranging from lower 64x default style textures all the way to crazy 512x skins. This was implemented to ensure high FPS compatibility with older machines while newer high end machines can easily run the 128x and 512x HD skins if they so choose. (Currently no 256x skin)
Skins are easily set in game using chat command /steveskin type or /alexskin type etc.
Currently the only way to get said companions are via creative or sysop chat command to give an alex, steve or ashley egg. Players must have ONE emerald in order to tame said companion. Upon companion death a gravestone is spawned on death coord. Right click to retrieve your companion egg, companion inventory, and 1x emerald to re-tame them with.
Sneak right click with empty hand to open their inventory UI.
Things they have and can do:
Create/equip armor, weapons shield, curios.
Distinguish between gear types and will always create/equip the better choices.
Eat food to heal and gain hearts and stats.
Right clicking the companion with empty slot will trigger a hug which grants temporary buffs.
They have their own inventory (they can be configured to pickup loot) so they can help you with carrying less important items even if looting is disabled.
They have their own curios and extra items slots.
They can be assigned to stay in a specific spot using the sit button.
Things they cannot do:
They can NOT perform any sort of solo questing, that requires a lot of hard work.
They can NOT grow food.
They will not create anything except basic armor, weapons and shield. They will not create curios etc.
They can NOT do any mining for the player yet.

They can now crudely build the most basic type of housing. They will share your shelter/housing.
