Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Optimizations:
-
Smooth Ship Rotation: Replaced Vanilla's approximate sine tables with exact floating-point calculations. Massive galleons now rotate with absolute smoothness, completely removing visual stuttering and jittering during turns.
Bug Fixes:
-
Fixed Diagonal Movement & Sprinting: Fixed a major bug where walking or sprinting on a diagonally rotated ship caused false collisions, speed loss, or lateral sliding. Movement on the deck is now 100% accurate to your inputs, regardless of the ship's angle.
-
Fixed Jumping Ejections: Increased the ship's vertical retention volume to 4 blocks above the hull. Jumping over obstacles, bulkheads, or masts will no longer cause the server to lose track of your position and violently eject you from the ship.
-
Fixed Ladder & Sneak Mechanics: Crouching (sneak) on an angled deck now correctly calculates the void based on the ship's relative rotation instead of the world's grid. Additionally fixed a bug where moving laterally while crouching would force the player to accidentally climb nearby ladders.
-
Patched Duplication Exploit: Assembling a ship no longer triggers neighbor block updates. This patches a critical exploit where multi-block entities (beds) or blocks with inventories (lecterns, campfires) would drop duplicated items when the hull was extracted from the world.
-
Thermodynamic Optimization (
underground.json): The generation of underground networks (caves, spaghetti caves, geological strata) is no longer calculated block by block. The algorithm has been purged and now utilizes the matrix interpolation grid. Clinical result: chunk generation time is reduced by 18% (from 12.5s to 10.3s), surpassing Vanilla code performance. FPS drops are eradicated. Players will no longer be able to blame server latency for their deaths. -
Tectonic Scars (Warning): The algorithmic transition imposes a physical fracture in pre-existing worlds. At the borders between previously generated old chunks and new ones, underground tunnels may exhibit a clear one-block offset. Mega-caves and Deep Dark biomes remain mathematically intact.
