⚓ MAJOR UPDATE: MODULAR NAVAL ENGINEERING

Forget flimsy wooden boats and prefabricated vehicles. The oceans of Seroka demand true floating fortresses. This update introduces a custom, physics-based ship construction system driven by mass, inertia, and absolute vulnerability.

  • Freeform Construction & Real Physics: You don't craft a ship in a grid. You build it block by block in the world. Your ship's buoyancy is dynamically calculated based on the air volume trapped in your hull and the density of your materials. Build it too heavy, and it will sink straight to the bottom.

  • The Foundations (Required): To bring your creation to life, you must craft and place two vital components:

    1. The Safran (Rudder/Keel): Placed at the stern. It defines your ship's axis of rotation and locks in your absolute waterline.

    2. The Gouvernail (Ship's Wheel): The control hub. Place it on your deck to take the helm and assemble the structure.

  • Organic Propulsion (Dynamic Sails): No magic engines. Build masts, place yards (solid block beams), and string Wool between them to weave your sails. The ship will automatically detect your rigging. Adjust your sail deployment to control your speed.

  • Inertia & Shipwrecks: A 50-ton galleon does not stop on a dime. Inertia is unforgiving. If you crash into a reef at full speed, your hull will shatter. If your hull is breached below the waterline, the ocean will flood your hold, and you will sink.

  • Tactical Vulnerability: Your beautiful wool sails are highly flammable. In the heat of naval combat, torn or burning sails will fail to catch the wind, leaving you dead in the water.

  • Naval Artillery: Forge Cannons, mount them on your decks, load the gunpowder, and engage in true ballistic warfare across the sea.

Survival Tip: Never leave the helm while sailing at full mast, unless you enjoy the sound of your hull splintering against a cliff.
