This version was originally uploaded as a datapack on 28/05/26 on this page: Seasonal Integration - Minecraft Data Packs - CurseForge

  • Updated pack.mcmeta to allow the datapack to work on Minecraft 26.1.
  • Added Pam's Harvestcraft 2 Integration. (Trees and Crops)
  • Added Oh the biomes we've gone integration
    • This was already mostly done on their end I just added some things in that they had missed.
  • Added Climate Rivers integration.
  • Added broad compatibility for Ecliptic Seasons
    • This just covers biomes as I feel that Ecliptic seasons does a pretty good job of sorting crops themselves when in combination with this datapack and Serene Seasons API stub.
    • The aim of this is to ensure that biomes get the correct rainfall in the correct seasons so you don't get things like snow in jungles.
    • Currently this:
      • Tags all Icy and Snowy biomes as "cold" to make sure they get snowfall as much as possible.
      • Tags all tropical biomes as hot to make sure they don't get snowfall during winter.
      • Tags all savannas as "monsoonal" to make them have wet and dry seasons like in Serene Seasons.
      • Tags all deserts as "arid" to make them have very little rainfall.
      • Tags all jungles and swamps as "rainy" to make them have much more rain than most biomes.
      • Tags all badlands as "seasonal/hot" to make them have varied rainfall while still functioning as tropical biomes.
    • These changes add broad compatibility which should cover most mods out there without me needing to add direct compatibility (as long as mod authors have tagged their biomes correctly).
    • These changes differ from how I do things with Serene Seasons but this is intentional to fit in with how Ecliptic Seasons does things.
    • This is experimental and is subject to change or removal in the future if Ecliptic Seasons adds their own system for broad compatibility.
    • If you feel something doesn't seem right or needs changed in relation to this, then please open an issue on the Github issue tracker

For the best results with Ecliptic Seasons I recommend using this datapack alongside a mod called "Ecliptic Seasons API Stub" which makes this datapacks integrations with Serene Seasons work with Ecliptic Seasons too!

I would also recommend turning off "No rain in deserts" and turning off "Regional Snow Timing" in Ecliptic Season's config but those are more a personal preference of mine.

As a disclaimer: I will continue to primarily support Serene Seasons in the future and I am unlikely to add direct compatibility with Ecliptic Seasons in the near future but I will continue to support the broad compatibility that I have added in this update.
