SEAMLESS PORTALS 2.0

Create live, walk-through portals that seamlessly connect locations within the same Minecraft dimension.

Seamless Portals 2.0 provides a focused, easy-to-use portal system built around the Riftmaker. Create a portal by clicking a solid block, configure it through the custom book interface, and connect it to another named portal using the Dial page.

• Portal settings are saved individually for each portal.
• Vanilla Nether and End portal behavior remains unchanged.

HOW TO USE

1. Obtain the Riftmaker from the creative inventory or craft it with one Book and one Eye of Ender.
2. Right-click a solid block with the Riftmaker.
3. Use the book interface to configure the portal.
4. Set the portal name on the Dial page.
5. Create another portal and give it the matching destination name.
6. Target an existing portal or a block it touches to open its settings.
7. Use the Rotation, Dial, and Rules pages to edit the selected portal.
8. Walk through the active portal to travel seamlessly.

ATM10 COMPATIBILITY

Seamless Portals 2.0 has been tested with:

• All the Mods 10 version 7.2
• Minecraft 1.21.1
• NeoForge 21.1.241
• Sodium 0.8.12
• Iris installed with shaders disabled

The mod is designed to work alongside large modpacks such as ATM10. Portal rendering has been tested with the Sodium rendering stack used by the pack.

LIGHTWEIGHT FEATURE SET

Seamless Portals 2.0 focuses on the Riftmaker workflow instead of including every feature from the full Immersive Portals experience.

The release does not include:

• The legacy portal wand
• The command stick
• Dimension stack tools
• Alternate terrain generators
• Unrestricted portal commands
• Cross-dimensional Riftmaker linking

This keeps the player-facing system smaller, easier to learn, and focused on building seamless portals inside one dimension.

IMPORTANT

WARNING: Back up important worlds before testing.

WARNING: Riftmaker portals only connect locations within the same dimension. Cross-dimensional Riftmaker links are not supported.

WARNING: Portal rendering may be affected by unusual graphics settings, shader packs, GPU drivers, or conflicts with other rendering and portal mods.

WARNING: Blocks are not transported through portals. Normal Minecraft block placement behavior is preserved.

WARNING: Multiplayer and dedicated-server behavior may vary depending on the modpack and server configuration.

LICENSE AND ATTRIBUTION

Seamless Portals 2.0 is a NeoForge mod based on the NeoForge port of Immersive Portals Mod.

The portal rendering, networking, chunk-loading, collision, and teleportation engine contain substantial upstream work by qouteall and iPortalTeam contributors.

The Riftmaker workflow, portal settings, rules, same-dimension restrictions, branding, and new assets are part of Seamless Portals 2.0.
