Nearby Chest Crafting 2.1.1 — Minecraft 1.20.1 — Forge
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Minecraft 1.20.1 backport: nearby-container scanning, double-chest deduplication, recipe-book autofill, server-authoritative withdrawal and safe return on close/disconnect, preserving enchantment/name NBT. Local appearance and server search-range settings are clearly separated. Optional JEI integration reserves nearby-panel space rather than overlapping recipes.
Java 17; Forge 47.4.26 tested. Requires matching 1.20.1/Forge SeamlessLib 2.x. No Fabric API, Mod Menu or Architectury API runtime dependency. JEI is optional.
Important for the tested JEI 15.62.0.219 + MezzConfig 0.6.8 combination: install matching MezzConfig on clients AND the server. That upstream build rejects servers without its channel. Seamless mods work without JEI/MezzConfig; do not disable Forge validation.
Passed clean build, 16 unit tests, 12 required Forge GameTests, independent client, native two-client multiplayer with/without JEI, actual autofill/return/disconnect NBT conservation, GUI scales 2/3/4, resource reload and server restart. Software OpenGL/copied fixtures do not guarantee all GPUs, packs or historical saves. GitHub CI did not execute due to billing lock. Back up worlds/configs; never downgrade 26.x saves.
