📺 ScreenForever
The internet, a computer and a smartphone… right inside Minecraft!
ScreenForever brings real connected screens to your world. Watch YouTube on a giant wall, boot up your PC to draw or play, and text your friends from your phone. Everything is in the ScreenForever creative tab.
🖥️ Web Screens
- Modular screens: place them side by side to build one big display (2×2, 4×3, 16×9…).
- Real web browser: Google, YouTube and any website.
- Keyboard: link it to a screen, place it and right-click it. Your mouse and keyboard then control the page. Press Esc to return to the game.
- Tablet: shows the linked screen live, even in your offhand while you mine.
- Multiplayer: the displayed page is shared with other players.
💻 Computer – CubeOS
A real operating system with a desktop, windows, a taskbar and a Start menu:
- Internet: Google, YouTube and Minecraft Classic, with a game mode (captured mouse, WASD movement).
- Apps: Notepad, Calculator and Paint.
- Game: Ore Fusion, a 2048-style game where you merge ores from coal all the way to the Star.
- Customization: wallpapers (including your own images) and accent color.
- Power on / off: the PC turns on and off, with a boot screen.
📱 Phone
- In your hand: shows its screen live in your main hand or offhand, and rotates between portrait and landscape.
- Personal phone number: call your friends and text them, with ringtones and notifications.
- Camera: take real photos of your world, with a selfie mode, then browse them in the gallery.
- Tools: Clock (alarms, stopwatch, timer), Calendar, Notes and Calculator.
- Your Minecraft world: Weather shows rain, storms, the biome and the moon phase. GPS shows a compass and your coordinates.
- And more: YouTube, Google, wallpapers and contacts.
⚙️ Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric and Fabric API.
- MCEF, the Chromium browser, required to display web pages. On first launch it downloads Chromium, which takes a few minutes.
- In multiplayer, the mod must also be installed on the server.
Calls don't carry voice: during a call, what you type in chat is only seen by the person you're calling.
