Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Changelog
0.0.2
Added
- SCP-107 now takes milk too, and the rain that follows washes away every potion effect on anyone caught outdoors.
- Better Combat support, so the Ruined Daevite Sword and Spear swing with proper sword and spear moves.
- Punchy support, so the relic weapons and staffs get its first person animations while guns and other hand animated items keep their own.
- Two new game rules for the Archive Terminal. scpArchiveRepeatFiles keeps printed files in the pool so any SCP can be printed again and again, and scpArchivePerPlayer lets every player print their own file of each SCP.
- Semantic Blocker, a powered machine built around a telekill alloy block that shields people up to 54 blocks away while it gets 40 SP/t.
- Facility Tablet, a handheld guide you can craft early from iron, glass and redstone.
- The guide's first page, Getting Started, shows how to charge your first block of redstone.
- Fluid Dump, a grated outlet block that gets rid of piped liquid. In a dry basin it pours the liquid out as source blocks, sunk in water it lets it out into the water, and lava turns the water around it into cobblestone.
- Dumping waste water into a lake slowly turns the water murky brown and hurts anything swimming in it once the murk gets thick. Small ponds can turn into waste water completely, and the water clears again once you stop.
- Chunk Loader, a machine that keeps the chunks around it loaded and running even with nobody nearby. Set its area in its screen. Bigger areas draw far more power.
- A server config for the Chunk Loader's largest size, power draw, grace period and loading speed.
- System notices now appear as small black boxes in the top left corner, showing the class symbol when an anomaly surfaces and the stranger's mark when a stranger is watching you.
- Particle Emitter, a vented unit for floors, walls and ceilings that runs a particle effect while it gets a redstone signal.
- Trinitite ore in stone and deepslate, about as common as iron. Mine it for shards, craft nine into a Block of Trinitite, then power the block through an outlet to make Charged Trinitite.
- Two Charged Trinitite and a Copper Wire craft a block of Charged Redstone, and the Charge Disperser now charges trinitite too.
- Faction raids. Factions that grow strong enough work out roughly where your base is from how you play and raid it, and they get more accurate each time they come.
- Daevite raids. A powerful Daevite opens burning spell circles near your base and war bands march out of them. Killing them drives the raid off. The scpFactionRaids game rule turns raids off.
- Point Miners that stack under one power feed and need water piped into their backs, plus a Point Bank that stores the points they mine.
- A Shop app on the computer for spending banked points, and a new Z-Class tier that only the Shop provides.
- Z-Class anomalies show their own teal symbol in corner notices.
- Modular fission reactors. Stack fuel, control rod, coolant and steam channel towers side by side, run them from a Reactor Controller, and send the steam to turbines.
- An Irradiation Chamber that turns Energum Dust into Reactive Material next to a running fuel tower.
- An oil industry. Pump crude oil from bedrock with the Oil Extractor, split it in the Distillation Tower, make fuel in the Chemical Processor and burn it in the Combustion Generator.
- The Oil Refinery turns light oil into plastic, and several advanced recipes such as keycards, computers and reactor controllers now use plastic.
- Forcefield Emitters. Pair one on the floor with one on the ceiling to raise an energy barrier that stops people, creatures and shots. Line pairs up into seamless walls that wear down under fire and need a reboot after they collapse.
- SCP-107 now takes crude oil and sends down a slow black rain that slows anyone caught outside and makes them burn longer.
- Water Boiler, Steam Turbine and Cooling Tower, a big steam power setup that gets over three times more power from fuel than the Heat Generator.
- Steam Turbines also run on steam from fission reactors, and their low pressure exhaust condenses back into water in a Cooling Tower.
- Z-0001, a plain black book sold only through the Shop app on a facility computer. Its lined page waits for a name.
- The first Z-Class file, which arrives with Z-0001 and never turns up in the archive.
- Containment Signs, glass fronted wall plaques two blocks wide. Use an opened anomaly file on one to show that subject's photo, designation, title and object class.
- Small Containment Signs for tight spots. Both kinds keep their subject when broken and glow when powered by redstone.
- Sampling Needle. Hit a player with it, or sneak use it on yourself, to seal their blood sample in an empty Sample Vial.
- Load a blood sample into the Cloning Machine to grow a clone that wears that player's skin, acts like D-Class and can be taken over with the controller. Clones get no personnel file.
- Booster Towers, a late game reactor tower that spikes the reaction of fuel towers through an open Control Rod Tower.
- SCP-007 Abdominal Planet, a sleepy man in a D-Class jumpsuit with a tiny spinning planet where his belly should be. He sometimes sits cross-legged to watch it.
- SCP-007 has an archive file and a spawn egg.
- New Facility Tablet pages on finding and collecting rifts, the Archive, how anomalies arrive and containment.
- Facility Tablet safety pages on decontamination, toxic gas and waste water.
- Cold Floor mode for the Particle Emitter, a low blanket of cold fog that covers the whole floor, pours over ledges and stops at walls and closed doors. The emitter makes no sound.
- Every player now gets a Facility Tablet the first time they join a world.
- SCP-178, a pair of cardboard 3D glasses that splits your vision into red and blue and reveals tall figures that only the wearer can see.
- Rocket Platform and Rocket, so you can fly to the Moon, ride a drop pod down and fly home from a portable launch pad.
- A destination picker on the Rocket Platform. Destinations come from data files, so new planets need only a file and a dimension.
- Satellite Platform and Satellites that stay in orbit, with commands for admins to list and remove them.
- SCP-179, Sister of the Sun, a Thaumiel entity floating beside the Sun who can be watched from a Satellite Terminal.
- Satellite Terminal, a console that shows live views from your satellites once you add locations with a Space Coordinator.
- SCP-178 watchers exist only for the wearer and only while the glasses are on. They vanish the moment the glasses come off.
- Iris may very rarely hand a face down photograph to someone who has read the SCP-096 file. Only one exists in each world.
- Looking at that photograph shows a face that does not like being seen.
- The Moon, a low gravity world of grey dust, craters and rock outcrops under a black starry sky with the Earth hanging overhead.
- The space suit, Air Canisters and the Air Infuser. Without a sealed suit and air you will not last long on the Moon, and most guns will not fire there.
- Earplugs that muffle almost every sound and a cloth blindfold that leaves you seeing only a faint glow. Some anomalies react when you can no longer hear or see them.
- Optional Curios support with a new Ears slot, so the earplugs and blindfold can be worn as accessories instead of on the head.
- SCP-207 Cola Bottles, a red crate of glass cola bottles that make you faster with every drink, at a slow and growing cost.
- Cola bottles can be set down four to a block, and a rare SCP-207-1 bottle with a blue cap hides among them.
- SCP-215, a pair of old glasses a stranger hands over. Whoever wears them starts seeing things in dark corners and behind trees, and other people stop looking like themselves.
- Three new things to see through SCP-215, the Lurker, the Crawler and the Watcher. Only the wearer can see them.
- SCP-205 Shadow Lamps, two vintage studio flood lamps on tall stands that wire straight to the grid and throw a dusty beam of light.
- Aim an SCP-205 lamp at a nearby wall and someone will be standing in its light.
- SCP-253 Blue Overgrowth, a blue sample vial that spreads just like SCP-008. Anyone it reaches slowly sprouts blue crystal growths, grows slower and hungrier, and is finally overgrown after about half an hour.
- SCP-253 has an archive file, and a carrier's blows pass it on.
- SCP-217, the Clockwork Virus. An orange sample vial that gives a short burst of strength and speed, then slowly turns anyone it reaches into ticking clockwork.
- SCP-224 Grandfather Clock, an antique clock that strikes at random and ages anyone in its room who can see its face until they die of old age.
- Reading the SCP-224 file brings a kindly old stranger with a cane, who hands the clock over to you.
- SCP-244 Ice Fog Jars, a set of three old lidded vases that fill the room around them with a freezing grey fog when opened.
- A stranger delivery, dossier, JEI page and Jade info for SCP-244.
- SCP-256 The Typewriter, a Safe anomaly that types eerie little messages on its own when you press it.
- SCP-256 has an archive dossier, and once you read it the typewriter appears on a desk near you.
- SCP-268, the Cap of Neglect, a tweed flat cap that makes its wearer go unnoticed by players, mobs and anomalies alike.
- SCP-268 rests on its own hat stand inside storage containers and can be worn in the Curios head slot.
- SCP-261, a faded vending machine that turns up near whoever reads its file and trades iron or gold nuggets for one of sixteen strange snacks.
- Sixteen anomalous snacks, from Gravity Gum and Echo Crisps to Mob Morsels that bring a short lived pet and Fright Bites that send monsters running.
- SCP-027, the Vermin God, a filthy D-Class who shuffles toward people while rats, silverfish, endermites and bats swarm anyone close to him.
- When SCP-027 is put down his vermin scatter and vanish.
- SCP-027 can be held in a stasis pod, and his vermin scatter while he is inside.
- SCP-280 Eyes in the Dark, a Keter phenomenon. After its file is read, pale eyes watch from unlit places and grow bolder the longer you stay in the dark, until SCP-280-1 steps out to hunt.
- SCP-280-1 can be contained, and while it is held the eyes stop for everyone.
- SCP-280-1 can be carried in a stasis pod, but it slips away the moment it is let out anywhere other than a proper containment cell.
- SCP-294, a coffee machine with a keyboard that pours almost any drink you type for one iron nugget.
- Each world now has its own SCP-294 drinks file in its scp_unleashed folder, with 16 drinks to start that you can edit and reload.
- SCP-303, the Doorman, a very tall dark red figure with a mouth for a face that silently follows a lone player and holds the wooden doors they walk through shut behind them.
- SCP-303 has an archive dossier, a spawn egg in SCP Items, Jade and JEI entries, and a way to keep him in one place that the dossier only hints at.
Changed
- The falling meteor and ship message now shows to everyone in that dimension, not just one player.
- Pipes can carry several liquids at once, and vents several gases. Open vent ends now let out any gas that machines and tanks don't take.
- SCP-163 has an updated texture and new behaviour.
- SCP creatures, D-Class and Theodore no longer despawn, even on Peaceful.
- Dossiers no longer show the green Located stamp or tooltip line once the anomaly has been found.
- SCP-073 can now be held in a stasis pod.
- Sneak-right-click a storage container with an empty hand to take out one SCP-111 egg instead of the whole clutch.
- SCP-143 no longer sends a stranger with a survey map. Its file gives the tree's location and the case closes when you reach the tree.
- SCP-127 is now Safe class.
- SCP-173 copies itself much less often.
- SCP-049 can only touch people within about a block of its own height with nothing in the way, so it no longer grabs players off pillars.
- SCP-049 never makes a new tray. Without one it roams and kills people with its touch until it gets a tray back.
- With either archive rule on, a repeat file brings its anomaly again, so new corrosive snails, another SCP-017 shadow or a fresh SCP-076 vault can turn up.
- The SCP-148 status command now reports powered Semantic Blockers and who they shield.
- Every player who enters SCP-024 now gets their own show stage, thousands of blocks away from everyone else.
- Anomaly arrivals now tell every online player what surfaced and roughly where, and investigation hints use the new notices instead of the action bar.
- The Redstone Sender is now called the Redstone Transmitter.
- Chat servers and message databases now blink while powered, and servers and Point Miners give off a steady low hum.
- Oil and fuel dumped into water with a Fluid Dump now pollute it just like waste water.
- Gunfire from the mod's guns now shatters glass and glass panes, while reinforced, one way and tinted glass stay bulletproof.
- Punchy is now listed as an optional companion mod.
- The Reactor Controller map now shows boosters, which rod tower gates each one and how much boost every fuel tower gets.
- Updated to NeoForge 21.1.259.
- Z-0001 now rests open on a small dark wood book stand inside storage containers, so its pages are easy to spot.
- The Facility Tablet has a new look, with a gunmetal case, brass corners, an inset lit screen, and a camera and nameplate on the back.
- SCP-178 now sits small and upright in storage containers, lenses toward the door.
- Anomalies, strangers, meteors, crashing crafts, rifts and raids no longer show up on the Moon.
- Cases opened or carried to the Moon now wait and pick up again once you return to Earth.
- SCP-178-1 now walks the world on its own instead of sliding along with you. Calm ones hold their ground and circle, and hostile ones stalk you across the terrain.
- Wearing a space suit helmet muffles sounds a little.
- Storage containers hold up to four SCP-207 bottles, and tall ones up to eight.
- Sprinting away from SCP-178 figures now lets you escape, and they only strike when they are actually close.
- SCP-205 lamps now click like an old film projector and hum plainly, with no bee or sculk sounds.
- SCP-224 now ages the people it catches to death in about fifteen seconds instead of three minutes.
- Killing the SCP-087 Hunter no longer marks SCP-087 as neutralized or silences the stairwell for good. Another one comes after a while.
Fixed
- Open pipe ends no longer stop the whole pipe line. Liquid only ever leaves pipes into tanks, machines and drains.
- Waste water can no longer be deleted by pouring it into rivers or letting water flow onto it.
- SCP-002's meteor and SCP-163's ship could crash down twice and spawn two anomalies. They now only spawn once.

- SCP-106 now always goes after players and D-Class before villagers.
- SCP-106 picks a new target right away when his prey dies, leaves or disappears.
- SCP-163 no longer climbs onto its breathing apparatus or devices and spins in place.
- SCP-163's helmet glass no longer makes parts of its body flicker or vanish with shaders on.
- SCP-105 Iris can now be held in stasis.
- Unknown archive files now show a dark gray question mark instead of a gray bar.
- SCP-096 now breaks through every breakable block above him when he leaps up instead of bouncing off low ceilings.
- SCP-049 no longer leaves piles of surgery tray items behind, and once its tray is set down it never moves it.
- Corrosive snails no longer keep turning up near readers on later nights. They arrive once per world unless an archive repeat rule is on.
- SCP-024 no longer spawns extra hosts and spotlights when several players enter the show.
- Show monsters in SCP-024 only chase their own contestant, and players who log back in on the stage are sent straight outside.
- The Rift Extractor now sits properly in the hand in third person, and both hands hold it level and aimed forward while extracting, even when sneaking.
- With shader packs on, the Rift Extractor no longer turns darker while you are using it.
- Fixed an SCP-031 error in dedicated server logs.
- The stranger arrival message no longer gets hidden by other messages or missed while a menu is open, and a reader who briefly disconnects gets their waiting stranger back.
- The courier who delivers SCP-079 now wears glasses that sit properly on his face.
- SCP-079 can now be broken with a pickaxe, even while it is running, and keeps its memory when picked up.
- Energum ore specks no longer sit at the edges and corners of the block.
- The Drain now shows as its block in the inventory.
- Corner notices no longer shake up and down after the notice above them clears.
- The Irradiation Chamber's JEI page no longer has text running off the edges.
- With Punchy installed the Facility Tablet, vials, blood samples, the rift detector, SCP-035 and other handheld items are now held upright in first person instead of edge on or pointing at the camera.
- With Punchy installed the SCP-066 ball, SCP-148 ingot, Scramble Goggles, SCP-003 board, SCP-151 painting and SCP-131 eye pod now sit properly in the hand and face the right way.
- Outlets can now be placed on the Steam Turbine, either on its terminal boxes or on most of its casing.
- Every oil machine now has a power socket that takes an outlet, so the Oil Extractor, Chemical Processor, Combustion Generator and Oil Refinery can be wired up.
- Reactor tower windows no longer show a bright see through strip when you look at them from steep or grazing angles.
- SCP-179 now appears as a black silhouette with clear gold symbols, glowing eyes and long black hair in the Satellite Terminal.
- The Sun in the Satellite Terminal view no longer drifts.
- SCP-178-1 no longer backs away. Once it turns on you it keeps closing in until it strikes, even if you run.
- SCP-179 is no longer hidden behind the Sun in the Satellite Terminal view.
- The Standing Mirror item no longer shows a broken texture.
- The SCP-207 and SCP-207-1 reaction now happens whichever bottle is drunk first.

Removed
- The Instability Reactor and the old Fission Reactor are retired. Placed ones stop running and can be mined to get back what was inside.
