SCP: Facility Bridge

A compatibility addon connecting SCP: Facility, SCP: Overtime, and SCP: Lockdown, featuring C.A.S.S.I.E. integration, zone-based security lockdowns, and mob-compatible doors.

SCP: Facility Bridge

Mod Version: 1.1.0
Minecraft Version: 1.20.1 (Forge)
Last Updated: October 14, 2026
Creator: @TontonGG8366 (TheUncleSK)

Origin of the Project

SCP: Facility Bridge was developed to address a common challenge when building large SCP facilities in modded Minecraft: different SCP mods provide excellent building materials, security doors, and containment equipment, but their systems are not necessarily designed to work together.

For example, a facility might use the C.A.S.S.I.E. system from SCP: Facility while relying on doors and construction blocks from SCP: Overtime or SCP: Lockdown.

Without additional compatibility features, these systems may operate independently, limiting the possibilities for advanced security mechanisms and automated containment procedures.

SCP: Facility Bridge was created to help connect these systems and provide unified containment-zone management.

The project was developed with large, detailed SCP facilities in mind, particularly environments requiring multiple security zones, coordinated lockdown procedures, and more realistic mob behavior.

Main Features

C.A.S.S.I.E. Integration

SCP: Facility Bridge provides compatibility features for the C.A.S.S.I.E. system associated with SCP: Facility.

It introduces containment management functionality designed to work alongside SCP-themed facility structures from other supported mods.

By extending the interaction between these systems, the mod helps create a more unified security environment across different containment zones.

Zone-Based Lockdown System

SCP: Facility Bridge implements a lockdown system with three main security zones :

- LCZ — Light Containment Zone: Areas dedicated to lower-risk containment and general facility infrastructure.

Each zone can be managed independently, allowing facility operators to activate or deactivate lockdowns according to their needs.

Key Features :

- Independent lockdown management for LCZ, HCZ, and EZ.

- Lockdown states stored in world data.

- Integration with compatible facility doors.

- Security restrictions affecting supported mob-door interactions.

This allows players to create security procedures for different areas without necessarily locking down the entire facility.

Door Compatibility

SCP: Facility Bridge includes compatibility logic for doors from :

- SCP: Lockdown
scplockdown:sliding_door
scplockdown:containment_door
scplockdown:magnetized_door
scplockdown:blast_door
scplockdown:scp002_door

This allows the mod's containment mechanisms to interact with supported door systems rather than relying exclusively on blocks from a single SCP mod.

Compatible doors can respond to the lockdown state of their associated containment zones.

Compatibility depends on the specific door type and its implementation.

Mob Door Interaction

One of the main features of SCP: Facility Bridge is its improved mob interaction system.

The mod allows mobs to interact with supported SCP facility doors, making containment sites more dynamic and immersive. However, you can disable this feature using the following commands (only in 1.2.0 or above):

/gamerule doSCPopendoor true
/gamerule doSCPopendoor false

When Lockdown Is Disabled :

- Mobs can open compatible facility doors.

- Mobs can pass through supported doors while navigating the facility.

- Creatures can move between compatible rooms and corridors.

- Door interactions allow for more natural mob movement throughout the facility.

When Lockdown Is Enabled :

- Compatible doors affected by the lockdown system become secured.

- Mobs can no longer open these doors through the mod's interaction system.

- Security restrictions are applied according to the affected containment zone.

- Normal mob-door interactions resume when the corresponding lockdown is disabled.

Zone-Based Behavior :

Mob accessibility is linked to the lockdown status of the corresponding security zone.

For example, activating a lockdown in the Heavy Containment Zone can restrict mob access through supported HCZ doors without necessarily affecting doors in the Light Containment Zone or Entrance Zone.

This system creates additional possibilities for SCP-themed gameplay, containment procedures, roleplay scenarios, and facility management.

Important: Mob interactions depend on the mob's AI behavior and the compatibility of the specific door type. Not every mob or door is guaranteed to support these interactions.

Facility Block Recognition

The mod includes block tags identifying compatible construction materials from SCP: Overtime and SCP: Lockdown.

These include building materials associated with :

- Light Containment Zone (LCZ)

- Heavy Containment Zone (HCZ)

- Entrance Zone (EZ)

- Supported security and lockdown doors

These tags help the mod recognize different parts of an SCP facility and support its compatibility mechanisms.

Lockdown Commands

SCP: Facility Bridge includes commands for controlling and monitoring containment lockdowns.

Examples:

/cassie lockdown lcz true

Activates the lockdown for the Light Containment Zone.

/cassie lockdown hcz true

Activates the lockdown for the Heavy Containment Zone.

/cassie lockdown ez false

Disables the lockdown for the Entrance Zone.

/cassie status

Displays the current lockdown status.

These commands allow authorized users to control containment security and manage zone-specific lockdown states.

Supported Mods

SCP: Facility Bridge is designed to work alongside the following Minecraft mods:

SCP: Facility

Provides the C.A.S.S.I.E. system used as a reference for the mod's containment management features.

SCP: Overtime

Provides SCP-themed construction materials, doors, and facility equipment that can interact with the bridge's compatibility systems.

SCP: Lockdown

Provides additional SCP-themed security doors, construction materials, and facility components supported by the mod.

These integrations are designed around optional mod dependencies.

SCP: Facility Bridge is not intended to replace any of these projects. Instead, it acts as a compatibility layer that helps their features work together.
