SCP-3008: The Infinite Store

You walked into a furniture store. Now you can't find the way out.

Somewhere in your world stands an abandoned store front. Step inside and you're in SCP-3008: a furniture store with no walls, no end and no exit sign in sight. While the store is open, it's almost peaceful. Wander the showrooms, sit on the sofas, take whatever isn't nailed down.

Then the lights go out, and the faceless staff start hunting.

🏬 An endless store

• A whole dimension of procedurally generated store that goes on forever, in 13 departments: Living Rooms, Bedrooms, Kitchens, Dining, Bathrooms, Workspaces, the Children's Section, the Market Hall, the Restaurant, Checkouts, the Self-Serve Warehouse, the Employee Area and the Entrance Lobby.
• More than 50 furniture blocks: sofas, beds, wardrobes, kitchens, shelving, appliances, lamps and more. Many are multi-block, and you can sit on seats, sleep in beds and store items in cabinets.
• Hidden places to find: survivor settlements, sealed rooms and grey staff-only corridors.

🕐 Store hours

The store keeps its own clock: 10 minutes open, 5 minutes closed (both configurable).

• Open: the lights are on and the employees are harmless. They wander around and greet you.
• One minute before closing: a warning over the PA.
• Closed: the lights die, red emergency lights come on and every employee turns hostile. Survive until morning.

🚪 Getting in, and getting out

• Find a rare abandoned store front in the Overworld and right-click the Store Entrance at the back.
• The lobby has no exit. The only way out is a rare Emergency Exit, hidden at the end of a staff corridor at least 128 blocks from the lobby.
• Exit Map Fragments and the Store Directory help you find your way. Escaping puts you back exactly where you came in.

🔧 Survive the night

• Dismantle furniture with an Allen Key for wood scrap, screws, brackets, fabric, foam, electronics and plastic. The store is your quarry.
• Build barricades and reinforced barricades, and patch them with Repair Kits. Employees will smash through them!
• Craft furniture, lamps, storage, bandages, first aid kits, batteries and improvised weapons like the Table Leg Club and the Bracket Blade.
• Eat at the Restaurant: meatballs, hot dogs, cinnamon buns, lingonberry juice and coffee.
• Crouch and hide in the dark: employees notice you from half the distance while you crouch.
• Sleep in a store bed to set your respawn point inside.
