The Blood Flies adds a new entity. Its history comes from the SCP universe, where it is referred to as SCP-149, also known as the Blood Flies.
These small but dangerous creatures spread rapidly and turn their victims into hosts. SCP-149 spawn naturally on the surface, often appearing in groups. They attack both players and villagers, and every bite risks infection of SCP-149-A which will spread eggs of SCP-149 from it's hosts which later hatch into more SCP-149 Instances. If you let the swarm spread too far, the infestation may overwhelm entire villages.

► [OLD] What is my console spaming?
Most mobs use special spawning conditions, which means that these mobs can only appear under certain conditions. If the spawning conditions work, this spam is created in the console.
► [OLD] Why can't I summon a mob?
Spawning Conditions determine which conditions must be met in order to spawn certain mobs. Some mobs only spawn above Y level 60. Some below. Most mobs can only spawn in the overworld than in other dimensions.
► Why are features missing in different versions?
It is recommended to play the newest versions of higher minecraft versions.
Not all features of MCreator available or the same in different versions.
For example: Version 1.19.2 doesn't have the feature of shield, better structure generation or custom villagers, but Version 1.20.1 does have them.
► Where does SCP-149 spawn?
SCP-149 can spawn on the overworld surface like a normal monster. However, there can only be a few instances of SCP-149.
SCP-149, Blood Flies
SCP-149 are small, flying entities that appear often in groups and seek out players and villagers as prey. Despite their fragile size, they are highly dangerous due to their infection ability. On attack, there is a 50% chance to infect a target with less than 12 armor points, or 6% if the target has higher armor. Once a victim is infected with SCP-149-A, they will lay down SCP-149 Eggs. Blood Flies are vulnerable to bats, which will kill them instantly within a 2-block radius. Left unchecked, even a few Blood Flies can lead to a deadly outbreak.

SCP-149 Eggs and Larva
Victims infected with SCP-149-A will lay down many SCP-149 eggs and take damage if they don't burn. These eggs are tiny and will begin to shake after 20 seconds and will hatch into an SCP-149 Larva. These Larvae will avoid players and grow into new SCP-149 Instances within 30 seconds. This life cycle allows the swarm to multiply quickly, making SCP-149 infestations extremely difficult to contain without immediate action.
