Scholar Illustrations
Hi hi!!
This is a little addon I made for Scholar because I wanted to be able to add drawings and images to my books for a Minecraft roleplay server.
With this addon, you can draw directly onto book pages, import your own images, and generally make your journals, stories, research notes, or whatever else you're writing a little more interesting.
Features
- Draw directly onto pages! Use different brush sizes and colors, an eraser, and undo/redo.
- Import your own images! Add PNGs to your books and move or resize them to fit.
- Higher-quality images! An option for importing larger images without immediately losing all their
detail. - Draw over (or under!) text! Choose whether your illustrations appear in front of or behind the
writing. Perfect for little annotations, decorations, or just scribbling all over something. - Hideable tools! You can tuck the illustration controls away when you don't need them.
- Multiplayer support! Drawings and imported images are saved on the server so other players can
see them too.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge
- Scholar 1.2.10
This is an addon for Scholar, not a replacement!
You'll need the original mod installed for this to work.
For multiplayer, the addon needs to be installed on both the server and the clients.
A Few Things to Know
This addon was originally made for my own roleplay server, so it's still a relatively small project!
Illustrations are currently tied to their respective book pages, meaning adding or removing pages may cause drawings to stay on their original page numbers instead of following the text.
If you're running a server, make sure to back up your illustration data along with the rest of your world!
